Missoni (colour differences)

I bought a mini of the Missoni perfume on eBay and decanted it into a spray vile...the juice is bright, bright orange. Someone recently sent me a proper manufacturer's sample (thanks J.) and the juice is almost clear. Both are marked as EDP.

Has anyone else noticed what colour their juice is? I know it's hard to tell with the coloured glass bottles.

ps - both smell fine, was just curious.

I've had juice drastically change color before, without it interfering with smell. It could be that.

Could be...just seems strange that one is *so* different from the other. I'm curious if maybe the mini I bought had actual parfum in it instead EDP.

I have 30ml of the EDP and 7ml of the perfume. None of them is bright orange, but the perfume is darker than the EDP. I bought the 7ml at e-bay and I thought I was buying EDP, but the box says parfum.

That's the one that I bought too...it said parfum on the box, but EDP elsewhere (on the bottle I believe). I've thrown the bottle away because I decanted it into an atomizer...now that I can see the liquid clearly, it's bright orange.

I've noticed different color juice in two different bottles, in the same store (Bendel's in NY). Same smell, as far as I could tell.

Strange. The mini bottle I bought doesn't seem any stronger than the EDP sample I have...

Either way...I still love it.
