Anytime Valentine.

I wrote a mini-review of sorts on the other thread so I won't repeat myself here, but I will say it's a shame Dior isn't more forthcoming with this release to the US. This has become the norm with Dior's EdP flankers (I.e. Dior Homme Intense, Hypnotic Poison Elixir), which is a bit odd. Maybe Dior thinks we won't like them.

Fahrenheit Absolute is absolutley beautiful. No other words for it!

There is this new aromachemical dominating FA that I also find in the new Paul Smith Man and Lagerfeld Capsule Woody. A cross between wood and nuts. Woody and gourmand at the same time. Something only fit for termites. i find this totally repulsive. It really is a shame in comparison to the brightness of the original Fahrenheit.

As well as Trussardi Inside. And i have all four. Whatever it is makes all these frags smell more or less alike, or at least have that common accord between them.

Fahrenheit Dior is still a very good scent.

I agree they are nice scents but this accord is really difficult for me. It causes in immediate reaction. I am really interested to know what is behind it.

While we are at it, Jil Sander Man Absolute is guilty as well, along with smelling like the others mentioned.

Fahrenheit Dior is my favourite of them all.

Lets just say that if Absolute had been given another name and put in a different bottle, there is only very little chance that one would have connected the two. They are not alike, IMO.

Both have very good longevity. I really cant say which has the longer, but i much prefer the richer Absolute experience over that of the original.

They are not very alike. Absolute is really a quality scent. I could smell a very prominent smell of myrrhe in it.

at the base of Absolute is the ORIGINAL Fahrenheit... to me they ARE very related. I'm not sure how some people say the original and the new one are totally different!
