What would you wear for the eternity?

Saint Peter just told you that you have to choose one fragrance to wear for the eternity. You will never get nose fatigue so that smell is going to be with you all the time. If you try to trick he by picking a scent that pretty much doesn't smell anything, he will send you in hell. What do you choose?

Dunhill 1934--extremely round and polished. Good in all types of weather too.

Why, L'Artisan Parfumeur Passage d'Enfer, of course ...

Essence of Jerusalem

Geese, good thing I'm not Catholic

Seriously, though, I'd go with Eau d'Orange Verte.

Guerlain vetiver on steroids.

I know for sure it will be a vetiver scent & I am still in search of the vetiver that really satisfies me.
Until I find a Guerlain vetiver with steroids, I'd settle for the next best thing, one without steroids.

If Saint Peter is making me choose JUST ONE FOR ALL ETERNITY, it sounds as though he's sending me in the other direction.

My current choice: Aomassai.

Right now... probably encre noir since to me, it's very versatile and can be used any time, any where.

As expected, my favorite: Armani PH.

Very hard choice.....hmmmm... it would have to be Jicky parfum . Really, I wish St. Peter would let me rotate my scents !

As of now, it would be a tie between Chergui and Spiritueuse Double Vanille. Just cannot imagine myself ever getting tired of these 2 (though I have said the same thing about other scents in the past )

That's what I like about hell as described by Dante ("Inferno" della Divina Commedia): You have several circles, and if one would achieve to make it through all of them, one could use a solid wardrobe. This is in fact a good idea for a new thread. "Which minimal wardrobe for my next trip to hell?".

Oh Yum ! Chergui , Matt.
How can I possibly have just one scent in the afterlife !

I will wear Aqua di Parma colonia.
(that is what the Pope wore, it must work)

Parfumerie Generale L'Ombre Fauve. Would he really mind if I snuck in some Bois de Copaiba too?

Solo Loewe for the eternity for me. As the bottle replenishes itself i'll go with 20 sprays everytime.

Noir de Noir from Tom Ford . I could happily wear it forever forsaking all else
post #19 of 45
Without doubt, my choise will be Eau Sauvage, always and forever.

Actually, I'm curious as to what St. Peter wears?
Since eternity is so long, I'd like to smell of nothing.
Have they bottled the smell of freshly baked bread? I'd like to smell like that. Then all the angels would want to be my friend.

That's easy: Eternity.
Lol. Can't believe no one beat me to it...
I'm afraid I'd have to tell him to get stuffed ! (LOL) ...
I mean just one scent, even without nose fatigue, that would be almost like Hell for me ! ... No more new scents ever... Aaargh!

But , I suppose if he still insisted ... I'd probably have to go with PG's "L'Ombre Fauve"
(But I would probably still bribe or blackmail him for a few more extra PG scents, at very least. ... I'm sure I could get some real "dirty" on him, in order to get away with it ! )

Nope, St' Peter will probably be strict on any form of idolatry in heaven ! (He he !) ... (No matter how ridiculously stupid. You know how touchy they get about those things. )

I would choose Frankincense & Myrhh by Czech & Speake and in the process get into Gods good graces. Hallelujah praise the lord. Lol

It's a toss-up between Guerlain SDV and Shalimar Light for me.

You know what? Hearing that from you is something, because you have quiiiiiiiiiiiite a few fragrances. I think it's younger brother Back to Black may be a better fragrance though. I guess you don't share that opinion?

If I was to ask what you would want to wear in hell, would your answer be different?

Absolutely ! ... Spray on "Liquid Nitrogen", in that case, I should think ! ... F**k scent, it would most probably be the very last thing on my mind. (LOL) !

But if I somehow managed to get to heaven I'd be a trifle miffed.

I've signed up for Valhalla.

I'm becoming quite a fan of Back to Black... it's on a short(ish) wishlist. However, I don't think it could overtake my love for (and the ravenous reactions I get from) Straight to Heaven.

Layer it with a bit of Montale Gold and you've got yourself quite the olfactory gift!
well it has to be something with a magnificent drydown, because that's a loooooooooong time.
after a few moments of deliberation, I surprised myself by choosing Chanel no. 19
it continually engages me, and never overpowers me
a close second would be Attrape Couer, my wedding fragrance, which is softer and a very emotional fragrance for me. One I always found hard to wear to work, as it made me feel too vulnerable. Perhaps it would be fine for the afterlife.

I get a free pass to Heaven, I've already done my time in Hell. Azzaro Pour Homme
