Q for Anteus users

Is the atomizer on Chanel Anteus set for a sort of "half dose?"

Seems to dispense a much smaller portion.

Is it some sort of anti over use safeguard or just a bad atomizer?

My sprayer seems to diffuse a huge amount over a wide area. I have the Sport version, so I don't know if it's different.

My Antaeus has the same atomizer used for both Egoiste and Platinum Egoiste, and like Aromi noted, it gives a full and very wide spray.

Compared to other Chanel frags like Egoiste and Pour Monsieur, my Antaeus sprayer does dispense a slightly lesser amount.

Chanels in general have very generous sprayers, and this is true of every bottle of Antaeus I've sprayed my way through. (And it's been a few over the years.)

Yes, I can also confirm that all the Chanel frags I used or tested had very liberally and generously applying sprayers.

Mine is quite generous, both in terms of the quantity sprayed and revenues for Chanel.

Thanks all....I exchanged it. When I got to the store, it wouldn't spray at all for the clerk.

I love it when customer service actually helps out in a situation like this.

Yeah, I'm all for finding things at bargain prices, but Nieman and some of the other high end scent stores do stand behind their stuff and react quickly. I've had two such experiences at Nieman, and they handled it quickly.

I bought a smaller bottle of GIT once and it just didn't last 10 minutes on me. That's the only Creed that gives me serious longevity. They let me exchange it for the big black bottle and it was back to normal.
