Trying Antico Caruso again from a sample. Not as smitten by this today as last week.

PS hmmmm - 8 hours later and I am sure this is worth getting!

Jean Pascal Pour Homme
by Jean Pascal

This fragrance begins with a delicate mixture of bergamot, pineapple
and herbal essences. In the body of the fragrance we find lavender essences
that are softly mixed with jasmine. Musk, wood, amber and moss essences
bring coolness, giving this fragrance an extraordinary richness and personality. – maisonstinky

I think of it as a fruity leather.

I'm off to see Beyoncè this evening on her I Am...Tour. The Creative Director of the show is none other Mr. Thierry 'Manfred' Mugler so naturally I am wearing A Travers le Miroir, one of my favourite Mugler scents.

Today, I am wearing the delicious (and soon to be re-introduced!) Soivhole Quan Yin. I don't have a note list, but this is one of the few jasmine-heavy scents I not only can wear, but actively adore. I find it both rich and understated. I believe Quand Yin is some sort of diety in Asian culture, and I find the fragrance to be one that evokes contentment, a sense of abundance and optimism. Wishing everyone more of all three!

Montale Musk to Musk with a single shot of Patchouli Leaves on top.

I'm smoking a pork shoulder today, so I thought it would be a nice combo that wouldn't fight with the smell of hickory and applewood smoke.

Are you kidding me? I just got a decant and I am stunned by it. Yatagan is a dynamic masculine fragrance and I will have a bottle of it at all times.
