Somehow i find Opium EDT and EDP similar to The Dreamer. I havent done a side by side test, since i hate my Dreamer.

Well one i just tried recently but much more expensive similarity is 1725 Casanova by Histoire de Parfums, I was trying to figure out where I smelled this when i sampled it and was thinking Dreamer

I just recently picked up The Dreamer although I hated it initially. The first twenty minutes is fairly disgusting but I find the dry down very nice.

In contrast, Gucci II smells good throughout. Now I'm not going to say these two fragrances are identical because they aren't. But I do find a similar presence - they both seem to wrap you in a blanket of fragrance that lasts. Maybe it's the tobacco note. Gucci II has tea and is sweeter than The Dreamer, though. Might be worth a try.

Hammers...I own both. Like both. But I don't know that these two are very similar. GPH2 doesn't have any tobacco in it, and the dreamer is big on that, plus a berry/cherry like scent, absolutely absent in GPH2.

Na, i dont either find them to be alike.

One that playes on the same vibe would IMHO be Annayake Tomo, maybe even Le Male.

Obviously dinstinctively different but similar harsh, in-your-face and not for everyone to pull off.

People probably will disagree but you might want to try those..

I'll be the first to admit that my nose is strange and I'm no expert, but GPH2 does list tobacco leaves in its notes. I just find that the scents portray a similar essence. But don't go blind buying it on my account OP!

D&G The One is another good one to try but its tobacco note is different - or maybe it's the other notes that are different... hell if I know!

IMO layer D&G pour Homme with le Male and you have 'The Dreamer!' Give it a try.

I bought The Dreamer pre-basenotes, now I'm thinking I shouldn't have bothered, since to my nose my D&G PH packs more "punch" (has better longevity too) than my Dreamer. Oh well, The Dreamer's bottle isn't so bad, still looks good on my dresser hehe.

**Saw a post on D&G the One...actually to me it smells more like Juicy Couture's Dirty English than Dreamer. My 2 cents anyway...Maybe TimothyX can chime in, he owns both The One and DE.

JPG Le Male

dreamer is an experience aint it. to me the drydown with dreamer and d&g are different worlds. the curious poses women have when the dreamer tampers with their sex hormones, i havent tried the other scents that the members said is similar. if you like dreamer then it is worth exploring, im goin to check those recomendations myself
