Costume National Homme

Does anyone had the chance to try it yet?
I tried it yesterday and liked it. The fragransce is a deep woody masculine scent dominated by cedarwood and I smelled also hints of vetiver with a softer moss/tonka rounding base: balsamic, deep woody yet neat. Its costruction is modern but not weird. The package is the tipical minimal-antichic design of the brand.

I was sent a sample of this one and it took me a minute to recall what fragrance it smells like...
Egoiste.
Smells a lot like it to me, though it's been a while since I've smelled Egoiste.

Barneys had it at $85 for the 50 ml. and $110 for the 100 ml. You might try a phone order at your nearest Barneys. I have the feeling the stock is limited, so it may be best not to delay too long.

Thanks JaimeB.
Hopefully they will still have some after Christmas.

I got a heavy dose of Cardamom at first, with some citrus, followed with a very noticeable (but not overdone) clove note before I nice labdanum basenote. It seems to go through three distinct phases on my skin, and becomes a bit creamy, darker and spicier hours after application (where I do detect patchouli). I don't think there's any tonka bean in this, rather the labdanum that gives it a bit of a creamy texture.
