What do Guerlain mean by Habit De Fete?

Hi everyone,

I think I know the answer to this, but I thought I'd check with all you experts out there

I'd like to buy the EDP of Guerlain's Nahema, but I seem to be able to find it only in a 'version' called Habit De Fete. I have a feeling this simply refers to the design of the refillable bottle (and I believe various other Guerlain scents are also available in Habit De Fete bottles) but I just wanted to be sure.

Does anyone know if I'm right? Is the Habit De Fete Nahema basically 'normal' Nahema in a fancy bottle?

Many thanks in advance!

Yes, "Habit de fete" refers to the refillable metal holder.

It means they have a habit of partying hard! W00T!

(Ducks from the bricks thrown at me by those whose French comprehension skills are better than mine, which is to say, just about everyone. How did I get through 5 years of French class and three trips to France and countless family reunions with my Quebecois relatives?)

*LOL* Mo !

It would help if Guerlain actually explained that it is the refillable container that's the Habit de Fete and not the concentration of the scent .

Hmm...but it does seem logical, oui?

It is tres logical when you know the answer. I have recently purchased the habit rouge from beauty-enhancement.com - they stock all the guerlain perfumes habit de fete or not.

Hello Dareka and welcome

Habit de fĂȘte simply means its dressed up for the holidays. Which for Guerlain means that the bottles are jazzed up versions sold at holiday time.
Enjoy

BTW: I really hate Guerlain's Habit de Fete metal holders (the actual version). They look great from a distance, but actually cheap and trashy from close up, plus they don't lie comfortably in the hand at all and break easily (the upper part came off at once when I refilled it, because it's only glued).
