OK, is anyone else getting really silly icons on this thread? I am getting a Finnish flag in the spot for "Respond to this message," which is odd enough, but now add in that instead of a Finnish flag (on Tigrushka's OP, for example) I am getting SMM's avatar. On SMM's post, I am seeing an unfamiliar piece of art instead of his usual avatar.

Has Nathan Fillon taken over Finland? (If so, my immigration papers are in the mail) Is Basenotes getting wonky? Or is my computer having a crisis of some sort?

PS: BooRad now has kumquat's avatar, and there is another flag (Denmark, I think) in my "Edit" spot.....krazy.

I'm hoping some deadheads didn't spray LSD into your heating ducts

This sounds similar to viral behavior on your computer, unless the server was completely f'd up.
I've yet to experience anything like this on BN and I've checked in everyday for the last 3 weeks.

Mo, I wonder if it's an issue with your browser? Do you have another browser you could try?

LOL, I just came back to check in on this thread, and lo and behold, next to kbe's name IS MY OWN AVATAR! My identity crises is complete!

I'm too wedded to my Firefox to full-on switch, but I'll delete some cookies and such and see if that helps.

That's hilarious! I'm a Firefox person, too. You might try clearing private data completely, if you don't mind losing saved passwords, etc.
