New-found love!

I can't believe it's taken me so long to test this fragrance,
but now that I have I'm hooked!
It's powerful, very sensual and
deeply addictive. It hasn't got that many notes, is by a female perfumer and.
can be found in most department stores over here.
I am hoarding my small sample like gold dust and looking forward to wearing it
over Christmas.
Any idea what I just discovered?

...or, perhaps Black Cashmere? Does Donna Karan count as a perfumer? I'm trying to think of common female perfumers....perhaps Annick Goutal?

ohh, but maybe it IS Hypnotic Poison!!! That is MY new love for the same reasons!

Sorry I took so long to get back to you all.
I had a coughing fit last night and went to bed early
with a hot lemon and paracetamol drink!
Libertine got it - it is HYPNOTIC POISON (elixir).
I just looked it up in The Perfume Guide and LT rates it highly too.
I must save up for a bottle of the Elixir version of this. It is the perfect
scent for winter parties.

I think I sampled this a while back and it was too food-like for me, but I did recently discover Mauboussin's Histoire d'Eau, which is now among my top 5 or so (it's got fruit, heavy spices, and suede), and it costs very little now.
