If anyone finds any more NR musc collection for him, please post so your fellows don't get gouged by folks wanting to pray on them.

Mi-hooked,

That bottle is on the UK version of eBay and has been sitting there for weeks. Try to find one in the US and, when you do, please send us a link so everybody can get in on it. Go ahead, I'll wait...

If it's a war you want, you got it pal. I will be following all your posts very carefully and frequently offering my opinions from this point forward, particularly when you try to sell or swap something.

- Brad

P.S. I've been a member of BN for a lot longer than you have and have hundreds more posts than you, yet I have never had a single problem with anyone--until now.

Is it just me, or does anybody else think these fights should be relegated to PMs now?
Agreed. I just felt the need to defend myself since mi-hooked? has decided to take this dispute public.

I don't know what price you were charging for that stuff CreedFan, but even if you are/were charging an arm and a leg for it, that's your own prerogative. Maybe it's a rip-off... But anyone who really wants a bottle of NR Musc Collection will have no doubt already checked all possible resources, such as Ebay and Craiglist (among others) before paying an inflated price anyway. So, I don't see any harm in charging a ridiculous price (although I doubt it will sell at a ridiculous price).

mi-hooked, I understand (and agree) that it's nice for BN'ers to sell stuff at reasonable prices to other BN'ers... but to bombard someone's sale page with a complaint about something you didn't even purchase is kind of pushing the envelope of obnoxiousness...

Now let's see everyone hug it out!

I should have known it would take a Canadian to put things in perspective and make peace. Thanks, dude.

Hey mi-hooked? -

Brad is one of the most honest and reputable sellers here on BN, not to mention that he's a really cool dude if you choose to get to know him. He and I have swapped many frags and will continue to do so. I've had some issues with him about the valuation of his fragrances, but I don't bring it up on the boards (save for this public defending). Your beef with him would be much more suitable to a PM fight.

Quite a few bottles of the EDP at my local Myers down here in Aus (I'm assuming we are talking about the EDP?).
I'm not a huge fan; all I smelt was the original mixed with Kiehl's musk, but at this rate I'm thinking of buying a few 'investment bottles'

Just a friendly word of advice. If you do decide to pick up a couple of "investment bottles", don't you dare turn around and list them for sale for a penny over the retail price. Otherwise, you will certainly incur the wrath of mi-hooked?, as I did for committing the same cardinal sin.

I don't know about you, but I personally take comfort in knowing that--like a virtual Batman of Basenotes City--mi-hooked? is out there protecting all of us from those who would seek to sell their cologne for too much money.

Pure gold

I hope Batman doesn't end up offended by your remark in any way, in which case Two-Face is on stand-by and can always take over

I don't know if its the economy, swine flu or the general 'bad santa' festive mood that has been frying brain cells, but lately Basenotes has been afflicted by catty childish spats ...whats sad is that mostly it involves people well into their mature 20s and 30s with families and kids of their own ..

I am closing this thread because it breaks forum rules and is inappropriate. Please PM me if you have other concerns.
Thanks
