Mickey Rouke in 9 1/2 Weeks

[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oRCRpEDyFuU"]YouTube- Nine 1/2 Weeks[/ame] Just watched this film tonight. I found Mickey Rouke's character really intriguing. He seems a little aloof and mysterious. For ones familiar with the film, what fragrance do you see Rouke's character wearing.

There's a scene where he takes Kim out shopping and judging by his wardrobe and apartment furniture, he seems to favor minimalist avant-grade designs, yet he still maintains a posed or refined appearance.

I could see him in Cuiron, Cumming, Narciso Rodriguez For Him and Odeur 53.

What do you guys think?

Reminiscent of "Last Tango In Paris". I think Creed BDP for Mickey's character.

Other possible frag suggestions for this character: Chanel Antaeus and Zino by Davidoff.

Tobacco Vanille was the first thing that came to mind. It suits his personality all too well IMO.

Seems like a Black Tourmaline kind of guy to me...

Just sexy man sex and sweat

If M7 had been created at the same time as Mickey Rourke's star was ascending, I believe he would have been the poster boy.

For his character in 9 1/2 weeks, I see/smell him in something that is cerebral but with fangs extended. Antaeus is a good one, maybe with vintage Dior Eau Fraiche as a hot-weather alternative.

Obsession for Men by Calvin Klein

Vetiver Extraordinaire (didn't exist then)

You are all wrong. He would wear Czech & Speake Cuba

another vote for antaeus. maybe bandit since there's a scene where they were in a saddlery shop looking for something to use on each other. the cdg recs seem good too since robert downey described the character as a sexy layered modern man.

I thought of this one, too. The original version, though, not the reformulated tamed one.

Kouros
may fit, too. It might very well suit his...fantasies.

Love the movie and he was great in it....before boxing and plastic surgery.....used to have a black and white of him from it on my wall in college.

So with that look in mind I'd say something like Bvlgari Black or TDH

Great suggestions guys, keep them coming. They don't necessarily have to been released around the time of the film.

I can't forget the last 5 minutes of the film. The whole mysterious man was just a pitiful mask, as it turned out in the end, leaving behind a deeply hurt woman.
I don't have a scent for that, sorry.

I think that considering the date of the movie that he would have worn Route du The, which was then new as the Barneys house fragrance back when the store was at 17th and 7th.

Kourus seems like a perfect fit for the character
