I'm looking for a fragrance that comes close to the scent of coffee.
Which are your favorites?
I'd prefer non-niche recommendations due to budget restrictions.

I'm going to immediately violate your request, Jokke, because I can't think of any non-niche coffee frags. Well, I take it back: Polo Double Black has some coffee sprinkled in with the spices and mango. My first thoughts were MPG Santal Noble and Jo Malone's quite wonderful but tragically short-lived Black Vetyver Cafe. I think BVC is reasonable despite the niche status.

Givenchy Irresistible can be had for cheap and has coffee, someowhat of a hazelnut coffee, note. If you can find Angel PUre Coffee at retail price, it is a fantastic coffee, with hints of chocolate, scent. For a bit more money and a less sweet coffee scent, I would suggest Jo Malone's Black Vetyver Cafe, although it's not nearly as intense as the Angel Pure Coffee.

I agree, that it's difficult to find a good coffee note in the designer side. Before I saw the non-niche disclaimer I was going to recommend Penhaligons Endymion, and even it can be had in the 70-100 price range.

Should you want to explore niche, try the HTF L'Artisan Eau du Navagateur. potent coffee in a tobacco chest.

L'eau du Navigateur is my favorite along with Yohji Homme. Both are must-tries for coffee lovers!
