I was thinking the same thing when i saw a new Diesel fuel bottle for men. It's a 120 ml bottle, if you mean this one.

They are different.

From Fragrantica:

Diesel Fuel for Life Cologne for Men was introduced in spring 2008. It is a fresh and energetic edition and it splashes us with notes of star annis, aromatic lavender and sexy vetiver. It is available in a cylindrical bottle, which was created to enable us to use the perfume both as spray and splash version.

Actually I think they are the same. After trying a small sample vial I purchased a larger bottle (pictured above), and they smell the same. Also, on the front of the box of the "Cologne", towards the bottom left "EAU DE TOILETTE POUR HOMME" is printed. Perhaps they decided to call it cologne because you can splash it on - I have no idea, but as far as I am concerned they smell the same.

The cologne is much fresher and not sweet like the original EDT. This scent lasts about an hour if lucky on the skin where the edt can last a while and give much sillage.
