I like M7, Bois d`Ombrie, Bois1920 extreme. I have order a bottle Duro blind... Do you think I will like it??
No. That's why you don't blind buy.

I can give it away as a present if i don`t like it..

Duro is a very intense, extremely woody scent and should definitely not be a blind buy. It's readily available for testing at C.O. Bigelow and Barney's stores in the US and I would imagine at other retailers around the world.

Ewwwww. Duro is one of my very most hated scents. Good luck with this one, it's an expensive mistake if you end up not liking it.

That's like trying to give away Knize Ten.

Is it something like profumum Fumidus?
No, not a safe blind buy at all. Very stinky. Very, very strong. Never goes away.
If you are potentially giving it away - to me - then it is a VERY SAFE BLIND BUY. In fact, I suggest that you buy all of their scents blind.

Seriously, if you go big for the really strong, stout, butt-kicking niche stuff, then you will probably not be dissapointed by any nasomatto fragrance. You might like one of the nasomatto scents BETTER than the others, however, and again, that is why sampling is good. But if I had all of their scents, I would not get rid of any. I like 3 of them (Duro, Absinthe, and Hindu Grass) very much, and think all are keepers. But I'm getting addictive cravings for Hindu Grass right now. My love object among those 3 keeps shifting between them.

If you like M7, you will probably like it, but Duro smells like the oud in M7, but cranked up 10 times. If you've tried Oud Wood by Tom Ford, it's like an more intense and less fresh version, with tons of sweet oud, wood and leather. I don't like it, but it's a love-hate fragrance, so you might like it.
I love ouds....I love duro!!!

one of the best out there!!! if you dont like it give it to me!!!!
I didn't think it was more than a decent designer scent - in super concetration. Lots of aromachemicals, obscenely obnoxious, way overpriced. I really hope you got the half-price bottle on offer on ebay

I have read someplace that Duro is like a more complex, denser, deeper, powerful version of M7. If that`s true, im shure i will love it! I like it loud and powerful. The same with Bois d`Ombrie, strong, powerful, long lasting, and very masculine.

IMO too expensive for a blind buy, but hope you enjoy it! You honestly never know where that holy grail may pop up right?
oslo its kind of linear compared to like real oud oils....its pretty much just what the description says oud wood spice leather....i would say 7xs oud 5xs wood 2xs spice 1xs leather....now think of that to the 10th power...and what you get when you first smell it is pretty much the exact same 10 hours later. complexity means alot to me in a fragrance..,...and although Duro is pretty linear, its such a great smell the lack of complexity dosent matter. its an excellent scent! perfect for winter. perfect for people who want their fragrance to be heard!!!

If you end up liking the duro...I suggest you try agaraura.com Indian spice oud oil....Its like a totally complex version of Duro.....the Indian spice changes on your skin like 5 times while wearing it....once you get like 4 hours or so into wearing it ...it smells alot like duro.....i wear the 2 together...and halfway through the day you cant tell which is which...it blends so nice ...its the best smell combo I have come up with in the 3 years I have been collecting fragrances.

It`s not difficult to see that it`s a love or hate fragrance..
don't despair Oslo...

I bought it blind and found the love half of the equation. I've been looking to re-up ever since. If you don't love it after a few wearings, pm me and let's see what I have for a swap that you do or will love.

GL!

, I loved Duro ,,i f you like woody oriental sandalwood , then it is yours,, I've just placed an order last week from Luckyscent, can't wait.
I'm on my last few ml of 'Duro' and am getting ready for another 30ml purchase. This stuff is a head turner for sure. Be carefull as to how much you bung on. Two squirts is too much, one isn't enough, and one and a half squirts dribbles down the spray nozzle which then gets on your fingers and thence onto door handles, ciggarettes, and small pets. I find L'air to be the same in the application stakes... too much or not enough. A walk thru can work but the bit that missed you lands on the carpet and melts it. In the end I say to hell with it and go for FOUR squirts (great fun)

My skin "eats" fragrances, so I`m very exited to test out this one. That was one of the reasons that i make a order.
Dunno what the Spritz Police will make of my two on the chest, one on the wrist dabbed into two, and the biggie.., one in my hair. I put so much L'air on once that my eyes were watering for a little while after. An 80 degree day it was too.

After several wearings of Duro, i must say it reminds me of a crossing between Gucci Pour Homme and Amouage Jubilation xxv. Someone feel the same?
It reminds me of M7 on steroids.
I get that too totally reminds me of jubilation drydown... Almost the same oudhy/woody scent.... I love both ... Duro is my most complimented cologn by far!
