Which brands are specialized in perfume?

I have been into the world of designer perfumes for many years such as Prada, Marc Jacobs, Chanel etc.

But now I am curious to try out the brands that specialize in perfumes. Like Serge Lutens, Annick Goutal etc. But I really don't know which brands are out there.

Can you help me? Which brands specialize in perfumes? And which would you recommend?

Hello and welcome!

Caron is a house that only sells perfumes. Some of my favortie fragrances are from that house. Very classic and well made and considering the quality...very inexpensive too.

Serge Lutens are a good house to start exploring. Try also, L'Artisan Parfumeur.

My recommendations (and ignore the fact that I'm a woman; these aren't primarily feminine houses):

Parfumerie Generale
Bois 1920
L'Artisan Parfumeur
Serge Lutens
Frederic Malle
Lorenzo Villoresi

Add these 2 whose lines have so far impressed me:

Histoires de Parfums
Sonoma Scent Studio

Perhaps it hasnt' been mentioned yet because it's too obvious, but Guerlain is the FIRST and foremost house you should acquaint yourself with. Most of the Guerlain offerings are in the "classic" style, which may not be to your liking (yet), but try to view them in the context of reference fragrances. Other fragrance-only houses that you might want to try are The Different Company, Creed, Le Labo, and Tauer. All are mentioned frequently on Basenotes.

L'Artisan (mentioned previously) is an excellent start - they have an extensive line, are fairly easy to find, and have more youth appeal than some of the more established houses.

Good luck!

Rance 1795 and Acqua di Parma- both one a "perfume only"-basis and both niche

Hmmm, I'd say "Frederic Malle" and "L'artisan" Are two houses two which produce prestigious perfumes, included of intimidating notes as-well as their dazzeling complexity!
