The Dreamer would be much more popular with girls, however I personally prefer the smell of Fleur du Male. It drys down to a rich floral / vanilla / powder scent on me that is much more masculine than its flamboyant top-notes.

I already own Dreamer and think Fleur du Male will be my first "official" floral. I'm seriously considering going over my 40 dollar spending limit ($47 on amazon)

The Dreamer makes women go crazy for you, no kidding. I haven't tried Fleur de Male as yet but for me Dreamer is a winner.

I went for The Dreamer because it's a slight bit crisper, fresher and more versatile, I think that Fleur du Male won't get such a wide female fan-base and will be too readily accepted, at least not as easily, as The Dreamer.

Fleur du Male makes my g/f absolutely melt. She's 23. I'm going to have to go with Fleur du Male, assuming you can pull it off.

I have The Dreamer.

I was looking for a clean floral. Kouros was nice but too dirty.

I was considering Zino and Anucci Man but decided to go for something more modern/controversial.

I just sampled Fleur du Male for the first time today. It smelled GREAT! It's exactly the clean floral I was looking for. I just bought it online. I can imagine people on the street thinking I'm gay for wearing orange blossoms

I sampled Fleur Du Male many times and was quite unsure what to think of it since it was pretty different. A clean, vanilla powdery floral that's pretty unique. I have not smelled the Dreamer yet but I have a sample of Fleur Du Male infront of me now and it's really very nice. It's well done, strong, classy and intimate.

I have to say, I'm amazed by the slaughter. At the time of this post, The Dreamer is destroying Fleur du Male 20-3.

I'm loving my Fleur du Male and The Dreamer. The Dreamer is always sexy, and I can't picture anyone being offended by it. Fleur du Male is beautiful, lasts much longer, and I love how controversial it is (I could have purchased The One for my orange blossom fix).

I think partly is because EVERYONE seems to hate Le Male and Fleur Du Male is a flanker and flankers are generally hated as well so that's a double whammy. Not to mention that the bottle is still very bad so that doesnt add much. I love the scent though, so far it's the only floral scent I enjoy. Kenzo Power came close but I ended up trading it away for Gucci PH II after trying to enjoy it yet couldn't.

I love statues and busts in museums, so I freaking love the Fleur du Male bottle! Fleur du Male is my coolest bottle, The Dreamer is second place.

On a somewhat different subject rather than starting an entirely new thread...

If you own Le Male would Fleur Du Male be too similar to the original to justify getting it? It's been a while since I sampled it and I don't remember how closely the scents were.
