My dad really likes these colognes but there are so many better less synthetic ones out there in my mind. Recommend some similar ones he'd like in their place.

for Coolwater, obviously Green Irish Tweed

for Black, check out Guerlain Homme Intense, its like the 100× classier and better brother

Green Irish Tweed or Chez Bond for Cool Water....personally would go for GIT

Cool Water is irreplaceable.

Another vote for GIT. 20 minutes after application, the dry down is SO much more interesting and classy than CW.

Well I'm not dishing out that much for something that dad wouldn't really appreciate. He's a typical guy and doesn't really care about fragrance too much and doesn't smell many at all, which is the reason he stuck with Cool Water and the only reason he has Black is because he smelled it in a magazine once.

I think if you're looking for something similar to Kenneth Cole Black but better you should check out Chanel Egoiste Platinum.

I wouldn't be rushing out to get GIT or anything expensive.
Have you considered that perhaps it's what you perceive as synthetic that your dad may actually consider to be the best part of the scent?

I had black back in the day but platinum to my nose has no similarities. I loved black but the longevity was horrible. Any others for KC black?

Platinum Egoiste will be the replacement of Cool Water IMO. Kenneth Cole fragrances do not come to Spain, so I have never smelled
