I Need 5 FRAGRANCES from your opinions, it will be blind buys.
They have to be available at either scentiments or fragrancenet or a retail store in the U.S.
Summer/ Winter doesnt matter.
Please no more than $100 a bottle. Cheapies are welcomed.

Please Help im new to collecting fragrances. I need 5 unbelievable fragrances to buy blindly, that i will absolutely love. Check out my wardrobe so you can see what i already have.

1. Best
2.
3.
4.
5. Least Best

Again, Thanks and your opinions are greatly appreciated. In 5 days i will count the multiples
in the top 5. Make a new top 5 with those & make a video on youTube once i order and recieve the 5 fragrances. YouTube channel is in the signature.

Please make sure i will not be disappointed.

**Also on a seperate note, i dont want to post another thread so here is my nooby questions for everybody here at basenotes, WHAT SHOULD BE MY 1st AND 2nd CREED PURCHASES?

Hey buddy,

Enjoying the fragrance reviews on YouTube. Keep it up. Looking at your wardrobe, I'd probably suggest the following to keep fleshing out your designer fragrance collection. They're all good, so it's basically up to you in regards to what notes you love:

Burberry - London
Gucci - Pour Homme II
Kenzo - L'eau par Kenzo
Armani - Code
Polo - Blue

Those are all pretty good smells which would go along with what you already have.

In regards to creed - it's so subjective. If you're in NJ, you should just take a day to come to NYC and smell creeds at Saks Fifth or the Creed Boutique. Creeds have all kinds of flavors. If you want something more versatile and aquatic, go for GIT or MI. If you're looking for woods, then head to Tabarome or BdP. SMW is a little more unisex but very refreshing. Acier Aluminum is very sexy (according to a few girl friends). I'd say get one standard aquatic (GIT, MI or OV) and a deeper smell like Acier, Tab or BdP). Be warned that BdP is pretty mature smelling and Tab can also feel a little too intense for younger folks to enjoy. I've smelled all of them. Let me know if you have other questions.

Hard to say about Creed, but I'd suggest BDP as the first... and even the second choice

My personal recommendations would be, in no particular order though:

Azzaro Visit
Solo Loewe
Dior Homme
CK Obsession Night
Dior Fahrenheit 32

Nice wardrobe yet ! Don't know about your favorite style, but I'd suggest you these (no order too) :

- Allure Homme Sport Cologne
- Bulgari BLV
- Cartier Roadster
- Burberry Brit for Men
- Terre d'Hermès

Here's some that haven't been mentioned yet.
• Cartier Declaration
• John Varvatos (original)
• Kenzo Pour Homme

I'll second these though....

• Terre d'Hermes
• Dior Homme
• Gucci II (I know, that's more than 5, but that black tea note is the shit, man)

If they were believable and you got disappointed, will you hurt us? =p

"I need 5 unbelievable fragrances to buy blindly, that i will absolutely love." - This is quite an expectation. Just curious, have you been disappointed with any blind purchases so far (assuming you've made blind purchases)?

i have been disappointed with PRADA AMBER other than that i have enjoyed all of my blind buys...about %60 of my fragrance buying are blind
buys

In that case, my random 5 in no particular order:

Gucci Pour Homme II
Hermes Concentre D'Orange Verte
Narciso Rodriguez for Him
(Given you like Fahrenheit, this may be worth sampling, er ok blind buying I guess )
Lalique Encre Noire (Not sure I see too many vetiver heavy scents you have now, I haven't tried some of those in your collection. Expect EN not to work if you do not like vetiver.)
Dior Homme Cologne (This is not to be confused with Dior Homme)

I hate to be a bummer about this but a $100 limit is a pretty solid limit on a request for INCREDIBLE colognes. With that in mind:
1. New Haarlem - Bond no 9 (More than $100. Like $145~)
2. Body Kouros - YSL
3. Chanel Allure Homme Sport
4. A*Men if it's your thing.
5. M7 - YSL
so from someone who's enjoyed your video reviews.
like a few others m7 and jazz by ysl, 212, tom ford grey vetiver.

as for the creeds, i am in no way really knowledgeable about them but out of the ones ive tried in the past that caught my attention were green irish tweed( a sure win to most id guess) and orange spice.
cant wait for those new reviews to come online

1. Guerlain Vetiver
2. Kouros
3. Rive Gauche PH
4. Jazz
5. Animale Animale

Yo JRWRITER!

If you're going with blind buys... here are my 5 suggestions which you should really like and can't go wrong with a blind buy:

1. Terre D'Hermes
2. Aramis
3. Chanel Allure Homme Sport
4. Azzaro Chrome
5. Guerlain Vetiver

And for the Creeds... I personally think you should go and smell them before buying any, blind buying a Creed is certainly a no no. I really love Virgin Island Water and I also quite like Himalaya.

theperfumedcourt.com

spend the $20 to get sample vials. $500 is a lot to risk.
