Night/Date Fragrances

Thread Starter
Hi guys

So I'm looking for a good night/date fragrance, something a little on the woodsy/spicy side that can be a workhorse. I live in San Diego so it's easier to wear some of the heavier fragrances in spring/summer.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Boss Bottled (aka Boss #6) is a good one as far as a woodsy, slightly sweet frag that chicks seem to dig.

Also check out L'Instant de Guerlain for something a little more formal.

For wood and spice you need to check out Creed BdP.

Another good one in the woodsy, spicy vein -- Armani He Night. It's been discontinued but is still pretty easy to find online. I'm wearing it today and it's really striking me as a good date fragrance. Not too loud, wears a little close to the skin but just right.

Armani Code is my go-to nighttime fragrance, but I also love Bulgari Black when I want something a little more interesting, and Calvin Klein's Obsession when I want to be a bit less subtle (and ironically retro). Basically anything spicy or musky, no citrus, fruit or florals.

Hmm,

I'd suggest "Dolce And Gabanna Pour Home II" woody and light...a perfect balance..appropriate as heck!

Personally I wouldn't risk Bvlgari Black if you're after a workhorse (i.e. safe) fragrance. Black's drydown is pretty wonderful, but getting there is no easy task. The rubber note will almost certainly offend at least one person in your workplace, and it lasts for a good 1 and a half hours before it begins to mix with the vanilla.

As for my suggestions, Gucci Pour Homme I and Chanel Allure Homme.

+1 L'Instant and Boss Bottled. Try also Gucci Envy For Men.

By "Dolce & Gabbana", you mean "Gucci". LOL. Another vote for Gucci Pour Homme II. Semi-sweet black tea with spices. It's light enough to be worn year round, especially in the summer. It smells crisp!

CK Obsession Night. It smells "dirty."
