Help for a clueless guy

Thread Starter
Now I'm very knowledgeable when it comes to men's fragrances but I'm practically clueless when it comes to women's fragrances.
I'm looking for a fragrance for my sister that is more on the sweet side than the floral and fruit. Preferably something similar to a gourmand and something affordable.

Thanks!

Hypnotic Poison?
if she's not into perfumes she'll most probably have a shock upon hypnotic poison.

try... chopard casmir or laura biagiotti tempore donna.

Better buy her some samples and let her choose a perfume of what she wants a full bottle. It will still be a gift, and a surprize, and you won't risk to get her something she doesn't like.

Hi Lonewolf

Not sure what sort of thing your sister goes for, but Lolita Lempicka came to mind. They're reasonably priced scents, you can find them at Sephora, nice sweet gourmands in lovely little bottles. "Lolita Lempicka" is a sweet soft licorice scent. "L de Lolita Lempicka" is a lovely vanilla.

Another really nice one is Thierry Mugler's Angel. Yes, its pretty common, but a lot of that is because its very pleasant, reasonably priced (cheaper than designer scents at least), readily available and also comes in a pretty crystal shaped bottle.

An option I saw SMM suggestion for Valentines Day seems like a good idea here. If you've got a Sephora nearby, you can request little samples of the scents you think would work well for her, and then purchase a gift card for the cost of a bottle, and present the whole little package together.

Hope that helps!
