Q: Does a discussion about pubic hair have a place on this fragrance forum?

Thread Starter
I don't want to offend anyone (not sure that's even possible), so I'm asking this question before proceeding.

As a perfumer and an outspoken one, as some of you know, I have thoughts on this matter.
However, I'll remain silent if you prefer.

OK.. I'll wait to see what the cat drags in for this one! (A joke, men!)
Really, anyone should speak up before I carry on...

Ask the question of the mods by PM directly and do it first.

If you want public opinion ( mod's rule is law, of course ), sure, but unless it's fragrance-related, probably better in the grooming section. Unless you're talking about a woman's pubic hair, then... I don't know, maybe the fashion or off-topic boards?

What would this thread be--a referendum on pubic hair threads? Come on Mike, wake up.

Really dumb question.

I don't post here to participate in a fragrance forum that goes into anyone's pants.

I don't know, I've seen awful lot of analogies with fragrances compared to wangs, hoo-has, and family jewels in perfume discussion. Probably with half of it about MKK, with the other half of us going "Huh? It's a sweet, powdery musk."

I'll say it clearly so all readers can understand my thought: I'm not here at this fragrance forum for discussions of pubic hair.

Sure, why not? I'm all for gratuitous female nudity, too. Just be sure to mention some kind of fragrance with it. For example, you could have a poll with the question "If your woman is wearing Chanel No.5 do you prefer her to: 1) Be completely shaved 2) Have a "Landing Strip" or 3) Look like just stepped out of a clasic 70's Porn with a "Mighty Jungle".

See, Fragrance related!

The male fragrance discussion forum is "For the discussion of men's fragrances, and fragrances worn by men". Let's leave it at that please.

I stand corrected and bow to the wisdom of the moderator.

Ok, so the poll would have to ask "If you are wearing Yatagan, you would prefer her to be..."

If I ever smell Yatagan without having put some on, I'll assume "she" is a sweaty logger with no personal hygiene.

On *this* forum, no.

On 'Off Topic', or even 'Men's Grooming', 'Fashion and Style' or - ahem - 'Cosmetics and Beauty' then go right ahead.

There was a thread about it on the men's grooming board. Maybe do a search to see if what you want to ask has already been discussed.

I think a consensus has been reached here and there is no point in keeping this thread open.
