Keiko Mecheri Loukhoum Eau Poudree.

I got my Luckyscent samples this morning and put on some
Loukhoum Eau Poudree straight away.

Notes are : White rose, orris powder, green of violets, narcissus, dragée (candied almond) notes, vanilla Madagascar, crystalline musk.

This should be too girlish and sweet for me, but actually it isn't. It's not as sweet as the
original Loukhoum, more powdery and rosy. It is comforting, very sniffable and downright
feminine. I would wear this to bed with a baby doll nightdress, pink marabou slippers and
a knowing smile. What a pity my husband is anosmic!

There is another version just out called Loukhoum Parfum Du Soir. I believe it has oud, Wardia rose,
rose absolut, vanilla absolut, benzoin and tonka bean.

I like it too, kewart, and I don't find it too sweet, either....but I like a lot of sweet and girlish, powdery and rosy fragrances (and I seem to adore almost everything Keiko Mecheri does!) I actually think the original Loukhoum is much more powdery than the Eau Poudree is, and I get more florals from it. Eau Poudree feels like more of a gourmand on me. I'd love to have both of them, but I think Loukhoum is just a bit higher on my Wish List than Eau Poudree.....but what I'd really like is that set of all three at LuckyScent!

(I love the pic - perfect!)
