Fragrance to wear in Asia.

Hi Everyone.

(First post for me!)

I'm going to Asia for a few weeks, HOT AND HUMID weather, but I am meeting old friends out there for a wedding and have, over the last 8 months, lost a massive amount of weight (70kgs), and am now finally looking to be the stylish one of the group, and am looking for a frag to take out there for those conditions. Something fresh, sweet, alluring..

In the collection, I already have

Creed - GIT and Erolfa
Geurlain Homme
Acqua di Parma - Colonia

But am looking for something with some staying power, and something that isnt the normal Aqua di Gio or BVL Aqua kind of thigns.

Anyone got any suggestions for my 'unveilling' with friends thats going to compliment the 'new me' in that heat and humidity?

*EDIT* - For daytime wear..

Thanks!

I live in hot humid Malaysia and i would recommend YSL Rive Gauche. I have worn RG in the day many times and it's just right and never cloying. you might want up the no of sprays too as u will sweat buckets here and most frags will burn out quite fast.

Anyone else want to add anything?

These you have will work extremely well! I'm in hot and humid Singapore (international neighbors with Jonny in Malaysia).

You may want to look into Dior Homme Cologne (not to be confused with the regular Dior Homme).

Hope you have fun!

When I am in Thailand I like to wear something fresh like Live Jazz or Original Vetiver something to make you feel refreshed and clean.

With Green Irish Tweed & AdP Colonia you are set for just about anywhere IMO. Guerlain Homme and Original Vetiver both great, Dior Homme if it's to your taste, and I'm sure Erolfa, Rive Gauche, Live Jazz also excellent, don't really know them.

If you want to try something bit different from above with staying power you could give Terre d'Hermes a shot.
Maybe Bulgari Eau de The Vert - the 'cool tea' feel is quite refreshing in the humidity.
If you want to get adventurous Fredric Malle's Noir Epices & Geranium Pour Homme both work really well for me in summer humidity but try 'em first - they have their own earthy, spicy and minty personality respectively.
To be honest you can wear pretty much anything out here - there is air-con, after all

Im from the Philippines, Creed's GIT and MI works well in here.. other fragrances that I wear during the hot and humid summer days are Perry Ellis 360 Red and Mugler Cologne.

Versace The Dreamer
Armani Code (at night)
L'eau Par Kenzo Pour Homme
Millésime Imperial by Creed

These come to mind when I think of Asia and its beauties. BTW good job on the weigh loss.

I think L'eau d'Issey was made for hot Asian countries. If that's too common, Live Jazz is really nice.

Equipage springs to mind.

I wore Chanel Allure Homme Sport nearly every night (it was still warm and humid) when I was in Cuba on holiday last Summer. The longevity I got was superb and even though I was sweating a little bit it still smelt great on me.

L'eau D'Issey and Virgin Island Water would also be great options too.

+1 Virgin Island Water

In the hot & humid, maybe one of these:

Eau de Campagne by Sisley
Original Vetiver by Creed
Spiritueuse Double Vanille by Guerlain
(or your) Acqua di Parma Colonia

But there's probably good air-conditioning at the wedding reception/dinner venue so you shd be able to wear just about anything.

Congrats once again on overcoming your weight challenge.

From the Philippines as well
A lot of people here wear : Hugo by Hugo Boss (the one in the grenade looking flask), Acqua di Gio and of course Cool Water. :P Holy Trinity :P

For really hot days, what I'd reach for from my 'drobe:
Agua Fresca (Adolfo Dominguez)
Alegria (Adolfo Dominguez)
Angel Schlesser pour Homme
Bvlgari Aqva
Paris Hilton for Men
Pleasures for Men (Estee Lauder)

Good suggestion on Bvlgari Au de Vert, you might also want to try L'Occitane's Green Tea line, esp the one with Mint. Actually looking for a new summer / beach scent myself, we're heading for a really scorchin' summer o'er here. Agua Fresca was my last years'
