Fragrances you've seen gain popular like crazy.

(There are soooo many youtube reviewers now. I'm convinced this has A LOT to do with the popularity of some fragrances.)

I have been seeing a lot of

Versace Man Eau Fraiche
Body Kouros
1 Million
La Nuit De L'Homme
Anything by Mugler

YouTube All-Star Team:
Paco Rabanne One Million (Hooray, another loud fruity clubbing scent!)
Versace Man Eau Fraiche (Above average popularity for such an average fragrance. It had a bit of positive reviews on BN when it was what D&G Light Blue was supposed to be instead of that synthetic sillage power bomb)
A*Men Pure Malt (yea, I bought into the hype, I do really like it though!)
Burberry London (I liked this stuff too, but pretty much every YouTube reviewer has covered this one)

Basenotes All-Star Team:
Lalique Encre Noire (When I first joined BN, this was barely mentioned. Now every time the word "vetiver" pops up, this is immediately mentioned. It is pretty darn good though.)
Montale Black Aoud (It seemed to have picked up in popularity in the past couple years.)
L'Air Desert Marocain (Just like the niche above this one)

On Basenotes, fragrances seem to have their steady gains in popularity. With designer stuff and YouTube, the hype machine can really go out of control. They're more easily accessible, more affordable, and the word of mouth is one helluva marketing tool.

The usual suspects... 1 Million (awesome cologne though), Diesel Fuel for Life, Lacoste Red and Azzaro Chrome.

Aqua di Gio never loses the opportunity for a recc.
I guess thats not a big problem as far as I'm concerned because its rather nice for an aquatic.

I can't confirm this but the largest age-group among YouTube audience seems to be in the 15-35 yrs. The recommended fragrances are often stuff that get promoted by SAs in the big dept stores, targeting customers in similar age groups. Anyway, I seldom enjoy YouTube reviews...I usually get distracted by the reviewer's facial expressions or mannerisms to actually focus on what's being said about the fragrance...

on this site, Bvlgari Aqua too. M7, unmistakeable, Kouros? Oh my, oh my...I was referring to this site. But popular scents here are usually not mainstream in my country so I heed advices and read with more vehemency.

Terre De Hermes popularity seems to have no end.
