I´ve discovered a gem of an old fashioned perfumery here in france. The owner, a very old lady has shelves full of wonders I have never heard of. Amongst them was Eau de Vetyver from Le Galion. She had a tester available of this and as soon as I tried it I fell in love with it ! I have a good size collection of vetyver fragrances, but this is not comparable to any of them. At first the vetyver note is very subtle, but as the drydown continues it becomes stronger and stronger and extremely `earthy / beetrooty ´
It has excellent longtivity and is worth checking out for your collection.
