Mixing fragrances

Is this ever allowed?

I have sprayed two fragrances, one to body and other to shirt, and sometimes the overall smell is wonderful and pleasant and I have received compliments on this and not when wearing them each separately.

I am curious if anyone here does that and what they combine.

I love to do this, but it can backfire.

I used to wear Creed's Millesime Imperial and Royal English Leather together.

I've tried a combination which i personally love to bits: Egoiste+M7.

the drydown is fantastic. it's musky with a slight sandal/vanilla feel.

This is commonly referred to layering around here.

Here is a recent thread on the topic.

Hmm, sounds very interesting. Gotta try that out.

Which do you spray first?!

Many people I understand do this, but I don't.

I don't mix them, because I don't have time to experiment, and failure is not an option. But I sometimes use different fragrances on neck and wrists. (from the same category though)

clean men is an awsome frag to use over some heavy frags..
I used to wear c m over dk fuel, and made the scent even better.
Also i used it over pierre cardin bleu marine, and made myself a great great smell.

I know c m is not very good alone, but it can make dark, masculine frags more deep and amazing.
