Anyone use Guerlain extrait sprays?

I think sprays might be a good way of buying vintage extraits, as they are less likely to have been messed with. However, I have a full-size tester of Mitsouko parfum and the amount that comes out is the same as an EdT bottle. I think it's way too much, as it is both wasteful and asphyxiating. Are the small purse sprays the same?

The testers are very generous compared to the actual bottles. I don't think you need to worry!

I have Mitsouko, Chamade, L'Heure Bleue, Shalimar and Vol de Nuit in those small 8 ml refills and they all spray just the right amount.

That's good to know. Thanks Tott.

Yes, I agree with Tott- I have Mitsouko and Shalimar 8 ml spray bottles- perfect.

For the same reason, I've taught myself a certain way of pressing these spray testers so that it almost drips out of the sprayer instead of diffusing...

I had a small size spray of Parure in extrait, meant to be carried around in a purse. It had a perfect volume of spray - very targeted but able to diffuse the scent properly. I'd snap up any purse sprays of extrait that you are interested in - they are rare because companies don't seem to see any profit by them anymore.

I have several of the square bottle tester spray extraits. They are unlikely to be tampered with, as you say. They are far cheaper, too. If you worry about wasting, or overspray, just spray on the large part of the inside arm & rub the wrist (arm) of the other arm there. I also give a spray to the front of the neck/chest. You can't miss!

Thanks everyone. I was a little bit wary, as the extraits I am looking for include l'Heure Bleue, Shalimar, and Samsara -so I was afraid of gassing myself
