Miller et Bertaux

So what's the deal with this line? Other than the occasional mention of G,G,G +G on the boards, it's rarely spoken of. I've tried G,G,G+G and really dislike it. But besides that, are any of them worth trying?

Miller et Bertaux #2 is divine.

Spiritus/Land is good.

Love their shanti shanti!!!

I've tried #1, 2, and 3.
#1 is a white floral, and the other two are good except for the bay leaf note that I don't enjoy. Otherwise, I would probably buy them. I haven't tried any of the more recent offerings.

I've tried 1-2-3.
1 started as a nice floral but developed an aspect I found unpleasant.
2 (Spiritus/Land) is an excellent incense style scent with the greatest fresh ginger note.
3 (Green, etc.), well I am a huge green fan and I certainly love it. Very fresh and perky.
I own 2 & 3. No question that they were bottle-worthy for me.

In some ways I love #2 Spiritus/Land. I like the ginger note and also what I believe is a copal note in the incense accord. One thing that bothers me however is the very dry quality that comes from one of the woody-amber fixatives. I don't know if it's just the bottle I got, but this it bugs me. This dryness isn't just a self-contained dryness, but it seems to suck the moisture out of the room. Very strange. Aside from that, its a very unique and unusual fragrance that reminds me of nothing else. I definitely recommend that incense lovers try it.

Good point, Indie_Guy. #2 is dry. I love dry scents, the drier the better for me. But not all share this view.

I rather liked Shanti Shanti --you can smell it next time you visit Westport, at Dovecote (opposite the YMCA, downtown on Rt. 1.) I'm trying to remember if they had any other Miller et Bertaux scents but I am not sure. (You can phone though: here is the website page: http://www.dovecote-westport.com/location.html)

I like Shanti Shanti a lot. It's a beautiful rose blend.
G4
was just OK, in my book.

What about A quiet morning and Close your Eyes? Any thoughts on those?
