The Comme des Garcons region is the most balanced of the regions and there are some very interesting match-ups in store. The #1 seed Yves St. Laurent Kouros should dispose of the #16 seed Tom Ford Black Orchid but I think Bvlgari Aqua will give Kouros a good run in the second round. The ultimate Upstairs/Downstairs match-up of the tournament takes place in the other half of the sub-region as Old Spice tried to ride its man on a horse right over the royalty of Creed Himalaya. I think Creed will take the real men of Old Spice for a ride, not on a horse, but out of the tournament. Next for Himalaya will be the winner of Dior Eau Sauvage/Chanel Coromandel which looks like a toss-up but Im going to give the edge to Eau Sauvage before going down to Himalaya to set up a Creed vs.Yves St. Laurent smackdown in the Regional semifinal.
The other half of the region is designer duels galore with one niche knockdown. Guerlain Heritage will edge Acqua di Gio before facing Yves St. Laurent Rive Gauche pour Homme. Tauer Lair du Desert Marocain will defeat Creed Millesime Imperial followed by an easy win over Bvlgari Black before going down to Rive Gauche PH which will set up an all Yves St. Laurent Regional Final of Rive Gauche PH versus Kouros which could be memorable.
