Which is your favourite AXE ? (Warning: cheap fragrances !!!)

I know Axe is a VERY cheap and affordable fragrance, like Brut or Old Spice, but it is very good for it's price. Here's why people like it :
1. It probably is the best price/quality fragrance EVER.
2. They last longer then some designer fragrances (Axe Africa lasts longer then Acqua di Gio for sure, and I've heard that AdG is made from very cheap ingredients).
3. They smell better then some designer fragrances.
4. AXE sold better then many designer fragrances. 1000 times better then niche
5. People won't think you are using the cheapest fragrance you can buy, rather they will think you are using a designer fragrance (stupid people). Once, I was wearing Axe Africa (how stupid I was, how could I possibly use a cheap fragrance. I was probably really high that I used it ) I told my friend I was using Le Male, and he belived me, and said he will buy it !!!)

So, is there somebody in this world that actually likes Axe ?
If so, he should tell me, which is his favourite Axe.
My favourite AXE is.....is......is....none ! I don't use cheap fragrances, also I don't like it.
Axe Africa (1995) (They tried to copy Le Male, and they almost succeded !)
Axe Pheonix (2000) (Probably the best, in many people's opinion)
Axe Voodoo (Not bad, not bad) (1999)
Axe Tsunami (2002)
Axe Kilo (2002)
Axe Orion (2002)
Axe Pulse (2003)
Axe Touch (2004)
Axe Unlimited (2005)
Axe Click (2006, a fresh scent)
Axe Vice (Yuck) (2007)
Axe Dark Temptation (2008) (They tried to copy A*Men, and they almost succeded !!!)
Axe JET (they tried to copy Eau Sauvage) (2008)
Axe Instinct (2009)(They tried to copy M7 or rather Gucci Pour Homme, they didn't made it )
Axe Summer (2009) -> Didn't try it, sorry

P.S.
I just hate cheap, supermarket, massmarketed fragrances.
Wake up, people, YOU DON'T BUY A FRAGRANCE FROM A SUPERMARKET, the same place from where you buy food or drink (Jack Daniels, Finlandia, Jim Beam etc).
You go to a department store or in a mall for that.

I became quietly obsessed with trying the Dark Temptations body wash...LOL

I wouldn't use the frags though.

For the market they're aimed at, I don't think Axe is the worst thing in the world. If not over applied, which I fear many Axe users do, they're not horrible. Better alternatives than I ever had as a teenager, that's for sure.

I like the Dark Tempation deodorant, and the only spray I'd actually buy these days, if I suffered a stroke and lost the portion of my brain dedicated to good taste, is Kilo. That's also the only one I wore in high school. Really though, Axe doesn't belong on any male body over the age of 22. They're good for what they cost, but they all somehow smell alike, and the "alike" is "cheap body spray". You'll never mistake them for an actual fragrance, designer or otherwise.

I'm impressed that they tried to copy Eau Sauvage, though. Keep aiming high, Axe!

A young friend of mine wore the one that has the chocolate accord in it. Is that Dark Temptation? It smelled very good on him and certainly fit his budget.

LOL. Dark Temptation is their breakout hit so far here. I think they put a lot of money into advertising it.

Yes, that was it. The only axe with chocolate is Dark Temptation. Dude, they tried to copy A*Men, the greatest perfume in the world.

I use Axe Dry Essence deodorant, not because of any scent-related merits (in fact the scent is gone quite quickly) but simply because it lasts longer at keeping me dry than any others I've found around here, it's cheap and does the job. Why go more expensive?

I used AXE a lifetime ago, when in public school.
Back then there was three or four to chose from,
most used the blue manly one, but I was already
back then a sweet and sticky kind of type, I used
the red one - the musk!

I wouldn't dream of wearing AXE today, imagine
somebody actually asked what I was wearing, I
would just die right there ... so embarresing!

Hey there, Haiduc! I buy fragrances wherever the hell I want to and enjoy Axe products. I have been using their deodorant for a few years now and have recieved compliments on smelling good when I wasn't wearing a fragrance.

You hate mass marketed fragrances, yet have Kouros as your avatar? Newsflash, that's a mass marketed fragrance and there are a lot of people who don't like it, too. You hate cheap- Kouros costs more than Axe, but is still a relatively cheap fragrance. So, it's simple- save your monies for a few months and buy a $200 fragrance. I think there was a thread on here about that.

Well...In australia, Axe is called Lynx..and my fav would have to be "Vice"

About 3 years ago, I used to wear Axe and I'd always get Orion. I dunno why. Most of them almost smell the same to me. Clean for 10 minutes, then they turn musky or sour. I stopped bothering after a while. However, if I had to buy something, Dark Temptation's my joint. So was Golden Axe for the Sega Genesis.

+1 I used to wear Axe Africa (= Lynx Kilo) when I was in my late teens and got complimented more than once. As long as I like it, I'd wear it, no matter how cheap it is. And I wouldn't be ashamed to "admit" when asked what I'm wearing. I'd rather be ashamed to tell someone if I wear a fragrance that costs over 100$.

You don't like my avatar ? Fine ! Tommorrow I will change it to Nasomatto's Duro. How about that. I't not cheap, and also I can't find it here. The bottle is well made too... Ok. One problem solved.
What do you mean Kouros is cheap. If you say Kouros is cheap, then you say Vetiver by Guerlain is cheap, or Habit Rouge (EDT) or Fahranheit is cheap or even Le Male is cheap. Some people are so poor, that they only have one bottle of perfume.
Kouros is mass-marketed ? I don't think so. Fahrenheit, a controversial scent that I like has sold 3 million bottles in the first monts.
How's that for mass-marketing, huh ?!
Cheap fragrance means it is under 30 $, ok ?
Also, I won't give 200$ on a fragrance, when Rive Gauche is 37$. Maybe later, after 2 years, but not really now.

Axe Kilo, for sure. I have several multi-hundred dollar bottles of juice and I ain't ashamed to say I, on occasion, enjoy Axe products. It has it's place and it does it's job. Nothin' wrong with that.

Which fragrance does resemble Axe/Lynx Africa/Kilo? I found Minotaure similar but ended up hating that one because of the basenotes.

I'm in the bakery business. I spend alot of time in supermarkets and drug stores. Everyone of them has Axe products. I've never tried one and never will. I don't care if they're good or not, I just know I don't want to smell like everyone else. I prefer to smell unique.

I remember Axe Africa, having a very enjoyable smell. I now use odorless antiperspirants so nothing would interfere with the cologne I am wearing.

I also second Dark Temptation Shower Gel. Good stuff.

In the heat of the summer, I find the Vetyver body spray to be a very good deodorant.The actual scent of the spray sucks, but fades fast, and the deodorant aspect works very well.

My favourite is Axe Tsunami, the antiperspirant one. It just smelled great! Sadly it stopped showing up in stores a few years ago and I haven't seen it since.

I'm a big fan of the Snake Peel body wash, a very refreshing scent for the morning.

I really enjoy Instinct, it's nothing like the others. It's spicy.. leather base, fresh lime, and actually smells like a bloody Mary, if that makes any sense. Try this one for yourself. I like Dark Temptation as well but after you've smelled it so much, it can get annoying.

I use their deodorant sticks since I have sensitive skin and they're literally the ONLY deodorant out there that doesn't smell too sporty and won't make me break out in a rash. I have a few scents of theirs in stick form: Essence, Clix, and Sharp Focus. Lately SF has been my favorite because it doesn't overpower other fragrances I put on.

Oh, and I also use Dark Temptations Body Wash. There's something awesome about it. I actually enjoy smelling it when I get cleaned up in the morning.

I can tell you my least favourite for sure - the new Twist! It smells super-generically fresh with a hint of vomit in the background. I didn't want to stick around to see how it "changes," but I didn't see much change on the paper towel I sprayed it on.

I really like the Dark Temptation smell, and it's the only one in the AXE range, but I didn't smell 'em all so far. I use the showergel and anti-perspirant daily for 2 years now, and you can believe me, with this anti-perspirant your armpits are safe and the scent is not so strong that you couldn't wear cologne (or my nose is broken and my scents clash daily with my anti-perspirant smell for 2 years ...).
I also use the aftershave sometimes instead of a cologne when I shave beard.
But as far as I like this one, I don't really like A*Men though, even if I definitely can smell what is similar in these two.
Africa/Kilo is ok too, but a bit loud for me, a good casual cheapo for teenager though (if not bathed in it).
