Green irish spring against white ivory soap...which do you prefer?
I love both. But right now I prefer the cleaness from Prada.

Cologne is King.
For me Mugler Cologne ...
I like both, but if I had to choose one over the other I would go with Mugler Cologne.
I have both and I find Infusion D´Homme cloying.
Overall and by far Mugler cologne deliver much more , unique and futuristic.
Mugler Cologne is my choice.
Betweem soaps, I would take the Ivory, but between the scents, Mugler by a mile.
I chose Mugler. If you had Amber Homme up there as well I would have choosen that out of the three.
Having just this morning received my brand new 100ml bottle of Mugler, I think my choice is obvious.

No contest here: Mugler
This so tough I didn't vote. Cologne is so refreshing that it always puts a smile on my face. IdH makes me feel like I just stepped out of the shower. Cologne is a beautiful composition. IdH is a longevity monster on me and feels so enveloping. Both bottles are beautiful. I really can't chose.

Infusion d'Homme

Can't choose, I've locked up. Someone reboot me
post #15 of 58
Lately I have really been enjoying wearing the Prada, so that gets my vote.

I love both but I prefer Infusion d´Homme
post #17 of 58
Infusion by far.
Mugler Cologne
Cologne. Infusion is too sharp, dry, and fatiguing. I would NOT want to get hot and sweaty while wearing that fragrance. Cologne is the opposite.
Mugler Cologne. IMO, it's much more comfortable to wear.

+1 last week a friend of mine was testing Infusion and the smell he had was way too cloying for a supposed "clean scent".
I owned both of them and I like the Prada(a bit) more then the Mugler.
Mugler - Very week sillage, very Week!!!
Prada - Gorgeous!
I don't think you can go wrong with either of these. I don't own either yet, but have sampled both and eventually plan on purchasing both. If I had to give a nod based on just my personal likes, I'd probably go with Prada Infusion d'homme. It's just such an overwhelmingly strong, clean smell. Lovely!
Mugler Cologne. Cheaper, classier.
Have worn them both. Prefer the Infusion myself, but I can see where some may find it a bit too much at times.

Overall, Mugler is probably the safer choice.

Mugler
Hard to choose, i prefer Mugler Cologne for 1 milimeter
post #29 of 58
Mugler Cologne.
MC gives me much more pleasure therefore it's my vote. However, idH is also a very good cologne, loaded with the typical Prada soapiness.
Infusion.
Mugler Cologne without a doubt!!!

Considering the OP asked the question in March 2010, let's hope he's decided by now.

Awwww jeesh. A newbie woke it up with his first and only post.

I get surprisingly longevity with Mugler Cologne, more than most winter frags on my skin. Possibly because the sprayer is like a water cannon, I guess.

I have both
Was more of a question for everyone

Mugler. I prefer its crisp green vibrancy over the staid, elegant-but-boring Infusion.
I have both but I can't take this poll. I just can't bring myself to do it
post #39 of 58
I prefer Irish Spring to Ivory. I also prefer Mugler Cologne to Infusion D'Homme. However, I recently went in with the purpose of purchasing Mugler Cologne, yet, I walked out with a bottle of Infusion D'Vetiver. I find it fresher, cleaner, and more interesting than both options. Just food for thought.
Are this 2 really similiar type of fragrance? I have not sampled Mugler Cologne yet but wearing Infusion right now its just soap soap soap soap soap and not the freshest one I must say. It reminds me Bulgari Blu that I dislike too. (smell on both is not THAT bad, but I dont see myself wanna smell just like this kind of soap in any situation)

I truly see no connection between Mugler Cologne and Infusion D'homme. MC is green and I get no soap from it while Infusion D'homme is full on soap. The only fragrance that smells somewhat similar to ID that I've encountered so far is its brother Prada Amber pour homme
post #42 of 58
to the OP, where did you go?
Was hard to make a choice. I wear IdH a lot, so there my vote is cast.
The original post who posed the question has mugler and not infusion in his wardrobe so i guess the case is closed, but it was fun to read.

I much prefer mugler cologne as I find IDH not as light and refreshing. My 2 cents.

Mugler Cologne

Mugler Cologne. I try and try to like Prada Infusion or the ambers but they just don't smell that great. They smell odd and more towards the feminine side.
Mugler by... Well, infinity and beyond.
Infusion d'Homme for me as Mugler Cologne smells like fairy washing up liquid imo lol..

Original Vetiver > Prada Infusion > Mugler Cologne
post #51 of 58
Infusion all the way
Mugler!!! It's surprisingly powerful if transparent. I'd heard it wasn't very strong, so I went with three sprays, and my eyes were burning slightly. One on the neck and one on the chest next time! Was my SOTD. Thanks, Macy's!
Two different versions of clean and both are very well done. On scent alone I prefer Mugler's cologne, but Prada Infusion blows it out of the water in the projection and longevity department. Price wise Prada Infusion is also quite a bit cheaper when you consider how many sprays you have to put on of Mugler's cologne for any kind of projection.

Hmmmmm... I'd suggest skipping the (EDC) and going straight to the Mugler Cologne (EDT). Those 3 eye-watering sprays in Macy's, projected like a beast all day long and all night too. They lasted over 14 hours on me. I own my own bottle now, but it hasn't yet been hot enough to wear it yet. I will say, however, that the body wash alone, lasts me a good ten hours...

Infusion d'Homme for me.

Mugler Cologne all the way. For some reason I can't get into any of the Pradas. They just have a weird almost feminine quality to them. I have tried and tried based on their popularity but just can't do it.
I will be purchasing Mugler Cologne I just recently tested the goodness of this fragrance on my skin.

It last 24+ hours on my skin after a shower.

It is difficult to not like Mugler Cologne it is just a clean fragrance.

Prada Amber>>>Mugler Cologne>>>Infusion D'Homme
