Returning back to whence you came...

The now not-so-new site looks and functions great! Props all around. The 1 issue I have noticed has changed, however, is that you no longer are directed back to the same area of the page that you left after you've posted (i.e., not simply read). For instance, you click on a thread in the middle of a page, post to it, and then click 'back' on your browser. In the past, you used to be returned to that exact spot (back to the area of the page containing the link that you clicked), but now it appears that you're simply returned each and every time to the top of the previous page, forcing you to scroll all over again down the page. Now, it isn't an exceptional burden or anything, but it is a bit of an annoyance and is a noticeable change. Thanks for your consideration, be well and take care!

I still have it do the same thing, remembering your location on the page. Did you maybe update your web browser?

This is undoubtedly related to another problem many of us are experiencing, as noted here:

I have the same problem. I don't think it's the browser, because other websites behave normally for me, returning to the same position on the previous page if I click the Back arrow. But since the upgrade Basenotes returns to the top of the previous page.

Well, something's now fixed, at least with respect to posting my SoTD. Now when the page reloads I'm put back at my new post, and not the top of the thread. I'll continue to observe more closely page load tendencies and report back.
