Lutens all the way...
Probably in the minority here, given the usual Creed posts, but whilst the other houses all have their virtues (although I am unfamiliar with Goutal's frags) it's Creed for me.

As long as I have GIT, Bois du Portugal and Green Valley in my wardrobe, I'm a happy man.

Though not yet reflected quantitatively in my wardrobe, i have to go with Amouage.

Creed .

May I play too, gentlemen? I'll have to go off the list, though. My favorites are Juliette has a Gun, Ava Luxe, and Sonoma Scent Studio (although would the latter two be considered artisanal instead of niche?).

If I must stick to the list, I guess Lutens.
The niche world is so large, I can't even pretend to say I've sampled it to completion. Of what I've tried so far, Serge Lutens followed narrowly by Frederic Malle followed narrowly by Parfumerie Generale.

lol, nobody like Bond

Annick Goutal, no question. However, I'm not crazy about their Les Orientalistes trio.
Creed would be second on my list, but is it really a niche firm? I've never really thought of them as such because their products are so accessible.
And Mona di Orio, probably a very strong second contender for me too.
I voted for Serge Lutens, but if 2 choices were available I would have cast the other for L'Artisan (from your list). Agree with props for Malle and Nicolai, and have also enjoyed quite a few Miller Harris creations.

Serge Lutens. A trip around the world, a journey through time, something for any time of the year or day or any mood.

+1!

I voted L'Artisan, although I would have picked The Different Company or Malle over L'Artisan.
It's Malle all the way for me, followed by maybe Diptyque. I got to sample the whole line the other day, but my stupid conference prevented me from returning to the shop and making a purchase as I intended.

Sticking to the list, I'd probably go with Creed or CdG.
Diptyque.
Lutens by quite a huge margin. I am slowly getting into Parfumerie Generale and Parfum d'Empire, but I'm not certain if they could replace Lutens for style preferred.
None of the above. I would vote for MPG or Parfums d'Empire.
I voted for Serge Lutens. Next would be Parfumerie Generale, Frederic Malle, then Amoauge, then Penhaligons, then Creed, then The Different Company. In that order.
Right now my favorite niche house is Amouage
post #34 of 39
Comme des Garçons
Strictly from this list: Creed- although overrated and over-hyped, still, always a source of some hidden gems

Not on this poll: Knize, Penhaligons, Hugh Parsons, Rance 1795, ADP
post #36 of 39
Serge Lutens is by far the best. Parfum d`Empire is second and Montale comes third.

And is CdG a niche house?? If so, then it is definitely worth to mention.
From this list, Lutens.

However, tauer and Parfum d'empire are a notch above that IMO.
I voted L'Artisan here. There seem to be more that just fit me well. I find Serge Lutens interesting, but there are only a few I would buy.

Lately I am really into Annick Goutal. As for Les Orientalistes, I love Encens Flamboyant. I bought 15 ml minis of the other three and am giving them a go.

creed, but i like and serge lutens
