This Shirley Brody (of Penhaligon's and Czech & Speake fame) enterprise seems to never have created much buzz beyond the inner circle of shaving/English gentility afficionados - perhaps the excruciatingly awful design that makes the bottle look like a 1.99 drugstore aftershave from 1968 is to blame, perhaps it's all about understatement. The original XPEC sound like a fragrance lover's fragrance (powerful herbal chypre goodness), but I'd love to hear more from y'all both about this one and Trinity I & II.
I've read some probably miseleading German copy claiming these to be natural perfumes, but the XPEC site says nothing of the like. Any infos and opinions on this, the concept etc. pp. are welcome as well. Thanks!
