Amouage Sandalwood attar

So pleased was I with the Amouage Jasmine attar for my wife, that I ordered their Sandalwood attar from Les Senteurs. We'll see how good it is ....

IMO a very nice rendition of the Mysore Sandalwood Oil I remember from the late 60s, early 70s.

Yeah from the description of it. It is a pure Sandalwood oil. I beleive it would be Mysore Sandalwood oil.

I have been thinking about getting the musk attar where they have mixed the sandalwood with vanille to produce a social friendly musk.

The sandalwood attar is very nice indeed. It's mellow -- doesn't project all that much -- but a true, pure sandalwood. I wish it was a stronger & more concentrated scent but still, it's very nice.

hmmm ..... sounds perfect for ballroom dancing where you don't want to overpower and the focus is on your movement. not your scent. thanks,
