Habit Rouge Beau Cavalier.

Thread Starter
I have been sparingly using my sample of Habit Rouge Beau Cavalier while trying to find a bottle. I found one and had it shipped 2nd day air, which just arrived today. I had seen a picture of the bottle, which to me seemed a bit cheap looking, but now seeing the bottle I am impressed. The metalized part of the bottle gives way to see through parts of the configured pattern. In person it is not cheap looking at all. Now, of course the juice is simply wonderful; the wood, cinnamon, and EDP strength make an already wonderful fragrance all the better. There is conjecture that Beau Cavalier is just EDP in a special edition bottle. This may be true although I can not confirm this. What I do know is that this top drawer, first cabin juice in a bottle befitting of belonging to a classy man or woman. I am doing the happy dance over this fragrance. Long may it live and if anyone finds another source please let me know.

Just sent a PM, Nick...

I've seen it and sampled it in Saks Fifth Avenue. One of the tricks with some scents like Guerlain I've found, is that it is often kept in the section with women's scents. Oddly, the Bev Hills Saks has a separate men's store, but don't have any of the male Guerlains there. They are all kept in the women's section with the other Guerlains.

I agree Tesla that in vivo the Beau Cavalier bottle is quite fantastic! A bit corny perhaps, over-the-top even (see pic below!!), but I like it a lot! I only find that the silver cap is a bit too much on the silver bottle, I think the cap should have been dark red... Guerlain's PR confirms that it's the original EdP fragrance inside.

I love that photo Mr. G.

I can't wait to own a bottle of this, it's on my next To Buy list.

Yup this is my favorite scent of the winter even if I got my bottle only in February (regular faux leather edp flacon). I had a sample from a BC bottle and it's the same gorgeous juice sans battle armor. Glad you love it NTesla (*joins in happy dance*) and also glad you've changed your tune on this Mike. If I recall you poopooed the edp in the past. I love it so much I think I'll have to revisit the edt that I never could seem to get along with.

Congratulations on your new baby, Mr. Tesla!

BTW, I saw Beau Cavalier last week at the Guerlain boutique at Epcot/Walt Disney World (where I bought my bottle last year). The bad news: you have to pony up $80 for admission to the park.

Yep. Did a 180 on this. I think it resembles very closely, the extrait (which I adore).
