Yesterday I was bored. I was out at work and decided to wander by a local perfume store.
For no other reason I could think of, I decided to revisit Armani Code and gave the back of my right hand a couple of spritzes to see if my original opinion that it was "something that was okay but I would never buy it" still stood.
Well, the news was that it was still something I wouldn't buy.
But what caused the confusion was that in the drydown I caught a familiar powdery floral accord (and yes it was the male version), of... wait for it... Iris.
Now this threw me a definite curve ball. But yes, there it was, a strong Iris accord. So much so it put me in mind of Hiris, which is probably my favourite Iris scent.
But Iris isn't listed as a note in the Code pyramid.
Have I finally completely lost it completely????
