Hey ladies!
Lets get a bit romantic. Take a deep breath, think about the man you love. Now answer me which fragrance would you prefer to wear while you are on a date with your loved one.

I would love to wear Cocoa Mademoiselle by Chanel of course. Now it is your turn

Hi, PerfumeGoddess.

I'll tell you the fragrances my husband likes best on me.

EL Cinnabar
Chanel 31 rue Cambon
No 5 Eau Premiere
Chanel Bois des Iles

So, on a date I'd wear any of the above.

Unfortunately my husband can't smell a thing, so I would wear a scent that puts me in a romantic
frame of mind - and hope his visual sense would compensate for his anosmia.
I would wear Anne Pliska or Shalimar and wear a shortish skirt (he's a leg man!!)

Sounds like my husband ! My husband isn't totally anosmic to perfume but he really has no interest in it so everything smells the same to him I think except one or two perfumes !

Shalimar
Fracas
Hypnotic Poison
are the ones that spring in mind when I think of ' hot date night ' with hubby. He's particularly partial to Hypnotic Poison and Fracas . He thinks everything I wear is either HP or Fracas. *LOL*

Even if I wear the skankiest perfume ever...his reaction is " That smells nice, honey ."

Another vote for a DH who could not care less about fragrance...all of his that he owns *I* bought him: Polo, T&H 1805 and Opium PH. Sometimes I spray my Equipage on him.

I *know* what he likes because he compliments on the scent.

Victoria's Secret Orange Blossom
Prada Infusion d'Iris
CK Summer One 2005

He also adores those souvenir-y plumeria/frangipani perfumes from Hawaii...

LOL! I, too, get that reaction sometimes... LOL!

My husband comes from a family of marines , no nonsense type people and he thinks he's pretty 'hard' but I can tell you , when I put on HP or Fracas ( but especially HP ) he gets this far way look and goes soft as butter ! *LOL* He'll never admit to it but it's true ! That's one of his cutest traits .

I'd wear what he is most enamored of from my wardrobe, probably. Fortunately he loves the big chypres.

Diva, Odalisque, L'Arte, Soir de Lune, Jubliation

While on a romantic date... well... I'll only tell you to make you bitter, cause it's long gone: C.Lacroix- C'est la vie

Fracas, Alien, or the one that makes him go, "Mmm...." Tabac Blond.

I would stick to what I've normally been wearing since my preference completes me.

Interesting thread. Looks like I'll be going through what you ladies are going through with your significant others. My fiancee is partially anosmic and tells the same thing half the time: "Mmm...that smells good, honey..." And she can't quite tell if I'd put on a different scent.

I'd wear what he picked out for me (all by himself) Chanel Coco edt.
