Good morning!

Annick Goutal Folavril for me. I know it's still March but the tomato leaves & mango notes just kept calling me...

Enjoy your Sunday.

Good morning everyone. Many thoughts for all in need today - you know who you are !

I wanted something I don't normally wear, something 'nice' and fun - light hearted .So I went to the mall and I sprayed myself with Brasil Dream by Estee Lauder. It does the trick -now I feel like buying some . I hate falling for limited editions. Especially limited editions that remind me of gorgeous, tanned brazilian hunks on hot beaches. *LOL*

Morning!
My sample of Knize Ten is getting it's first run out today! Thought I'd found my leather "hard limit" when I sniffed it, but now it's on... yeah, that works . *nod nod*

Sharing the house with Mrs Kitty Annick Goutal Chevrefeuille for me today. Have a sore throat, period pains, brain freeze and exhaustion - started the day with Lush Olive Branch shower gel and topped it up with the Goutal scent. I'm beginning to feel human.

I've been insanely busy at work (in a good way, but it's just as tiring!). Made some product scents they liked, but don't know if they like them enough to use them... and have been designing an online perfume SA training course + a commercial perfume website.

Good morning!

Thinking of stepping out in Rapture today...that's a switch.

Oh, those gingerbread men are making me hungry!

I wore Burberry Weekend today, however I plan to wear something new tomorrow. I'm beginning to lose the ability to smell Burberry Weekend because I've worn it so many times in a row.

Yesterday and today - Comme des Garçons Avignon. Brand spanking new and getting to know it To me it's more the warm resin than incense smoke, like chewing chunks of frankincense. Yummy.

Happy Spring, Northern hemispherites!
Happy Autumn, Southern hemispherites!

Back in Havana today.

Thanks to a lovely, generous perfume friend, I am wearing Serge Lutens El Attarine. It's an interesting, complex creature. I'm getting Arabie-like fruits and Fem du Bois-like woods as well as a pungent undertone of incense and cumin.

Best to all!

So we're scent twins! I don't wear mine that often, haven't had the urge. You've inspired me, and I have to say, it's not half bad. There's something about the opening that bothers me though, but the dry down is really nice. Not overly sweet tonka bean, yum.

Havana Vanille for me today. In this beautiful spring weather, I am staying in, letting my temperamental back recover.

Item #1 — I still love Basenotes & my sweeties here.
Item #2 — I still love perfume.
Item #3 — Spring is here, and physical projects are eating into my perfume-posting time.
Item #4 — A trilogy of computer-related projects I cast for myself (preparing ecological slide shows [done], updating my biz’s website [done], and launching an ecological landscaping news and reference site [the current brain-eating exercise]) has, at times, removed me from dwelling amongst you, my swell-smelling friends.

I regret there not being more hours in the day, cuz you know I want to be here more often. As I said to Ubu: my log-in may be inconsistent, but my affection is constant.

Mitsouko has been grabbing me most often this month.

The Different Company Osmanthus for today. It's as if I'm wearing Spring itself.

Testing Muscs Koublai Khan today.

For work I've been a littlebit more creative( scentwise) than I usually am. I chose Sa majeste la rose and was very happy with it all day! ....But couldn't resist some L'heure bleue as sotE after a shower.

i Profumi di Firenze - Brezza di Mare

A "breeze from the sea" helps put me in mind of a summer day.
It just snowed again and I'm losing patience with this tenacious winter.
Finally, a warm-up seems to be on the way.
This scent has a touch of watermelon to push it into fresh territory.

Notes: Fleur de Sel from Calabria, bergamot, Sicilian lemom,
lime and a whisper of watermelon

Sacrebleu. I haven't touched it in ages. Just the right bite of incense to counterbalance its sweet tones.

Black Orchid today, D&G Sicily yesterday. Tempted to get another bottle of Sicily while they are still on sale, but seriously, how many do I really need?

Yummy Coromandel by Chanel today. It works so very well in all but the very hottest weather. So still perfect during this transitional weather. Snow yesterday, 50s today.

Felt the need to go even deeper into oriental reverie after work and "Bwah Daze Eels" all day so I've doused myself with YSL Opium edt tonight.

I greeted the day with Habit Rouge...

The afternoon no Sycomore, but... Bandit.

This evening, Caron Eau de Reglisse Licorice (which is nice and more grounded over the Habit Rouge - Bandit drydown)

As you can see, I layer with impunity.
I was at Saks this afternoon and re-discovered Chanel No. 5 after 30 years...yum.

earlier: Cologne Bigarade
later: Bois des Iles parfum

Welcome, kabenji!

Wore Keiko Mecheri Ume most of the day. Right now I'm testing Grossmith's Hasu-no-Hana and Phul-Nana. I'm going to have to give these full wearings, along with the third one in the line, Shem el Nessim, but I can tell you right now that I agree with those who think they are remarkable.
Switched to Tocade for the evening, and I can definitely smell it, so -- yay.
