I'm waiting for my Marocain sample to arrive Tuesday so that I can vote!

It will be too late by then as the poll ends in 24 hours. You can vote in anticipation though, if you like :-)

Another very tough match. The brilliant classic that has seen better days versus the brilliant young upstart.

This will probably be another one where I have to stay logged in and refreshing the thread to see the vote. I haven't saved any fingernails to bite after the Habit Rouge loss and the Guerlain Vetiver win.

Such close matches really freak me out.

Come on L'air..............

Well, the older generation must make way for the younger at some point.
Eau Sauvage held in high praise and constant appreciation but who if not L'air is a decent and worthy successor?

Jasmin, citrus, basil, vetiver, and verbena. Five players that can't be beat for what a man should smell like.

In the beginning was the Eau Sauvage!

I thought spicy dung was one of the notes.

Move on to your toes.

I bet on Rive Gauche this round so my bracket doesn't care who wins. I'll see if I have the willpower to not vote this round as I haven't tried L'Air but love Eau Sauvage. Or at least the idea of it... it's gone in 15 minutes on my skin.

Docman, your bracket picks are on top of the list and I was going to ask you who is going to win this one.

On me ES lasts a bit longer, but I sure know the frustration of losing it. Funny how it keeps its popularity (sold today right next to the new releases at the fragrance counters I visit) even despite this problem. Talk about an amazing scent, even with the problem though. It's an occasion when I invoke the logic of it's-true-to-citrus-elements blab, since if it stuck around a very long time there would be something suspicious about it.

It would be a great one to go all the distance.

Come on Eau Sauvage, claw it back!

Bump.

Go L'Air!

Eau Sauvage.

Aw geez, watching Havana go down was bad enough. I still suspect that most of the AS voters simply haven't tried it yet. That said, I admit I haven't yet tried LADDM.

L'Airrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr all the wayyyyyyyyyyyy
post #20 of 23
these frags are so different it is almost unacceptable to choose between them!
but I voted for Suavage due to versatility

Dior Eau Sauvage has indeed seen better days...

Bump!

I saw the "results" were already posted, but I think the poll is still open...

Marocain smells like a slightly cheaper, more intense Chergui. Sauvage smells like a filthy lemon. Tauer wins.
