I'm looking for several fragrance for spring and summer. and something special and unique. I have several perfumes in my mind for Summer. i will buy Burberry london, Creed SMW, Aramis New West, Bvlgari Aqua, Bvlgari Black, Sahara. What About U?

Acqua di Gio obviously

:-)

I think of Terre D'Hermes as more of a spring/summer scent. Same with Green Irish Tweed, Rive Gauche PH, Kouros and CDG Monocle Hinoki.

before i had Acqua di Gio. It's not my favourite. I think Acqua Di Gio is a little simple, and i could find something similar cologne with less than 10$ !
but kouros, i just tested it before, i like it, maybe i will buy it. and another ones that you said i could not find them in my country. what do you think about Aramis New West? i don't know what it smells.
i want a fragrance, masculine, strong, and FRESH. with all of these properties !

Insense'/Givenchy is a very nice masculine floral for spring. Kouros Fraicheur is a, well, fresher and fruitier (pineapple) version of the original. Though I believe it's discontinued, one can still find it on the 'net.

L'Occitane - Eau des 4 Voleurs is very pretty for spring and summer. At the L'Occitane shop they told me it has been discontinued, but it can still be found in some places. Their Citrus Verbena is amazing, too.

The absolute BEST scent (imo, of course) for warm but not swelteringly hot spring days with sunny blue skies is
Amouage Ciel Man

Other great spring/summer scents
Hugo XY
Fleur de Liane (green unisex floral)
MPG Baime (if you like basil)
Les Nez The Unicorn Spell
Amouage Reflection Man
MPG Racine (absolutely excellent citrus + vetiver)
Wicken 3000
Amouage Arcus
Terre de Bois
Terre d'Hermes
Guerlain Homme
Versace PH

Where I live, summer isn't sharply different from the cooler months ( it rarely gets above 25C, let alone 30C ), so I don't have a large summer/winter difference in my wardrobe. However, I've often thought if I moved to a city with hot summers, I'd pick up a bottle of Vetiver Extraordinaire.

I didn't have Cool Water before, it added in my list
post #41 of 52
I can't believe no one said Tommy Bahama: Set Sail St. Barts (two others of the brand were mentioned). This is the essence of summer, in my opinion.
Something light ... I enjoy some of the MJ splashes and Chanel Pour Monsieur . I think the new Andy Tauer sounds bang on for summer days
post #43 of 52
G.F.T. by Trumper's, and Citrus Bigarrade by Creed
post #44 of 52
Mugler Cologne - Fresh, bright, uplifting and unique
Virgin Island Water - smells like a tropical summer vacation(tho would prefer a less expensive but similar option????)
Set Sail St. Barts - smells like summer!
Orphee by Maxims - refreshing watermelon
Chrome - excellent projection, longevity and refreshing sexy summer scent
A*Men Sunessence - my current favorite. unique, fresh and delicious!
Unforgivable Multi-Platinum - I love the citrus and smell of this, and it lasts longer than Millesime Imperial and smells nearly identical.
1. Hugo XY - I agree that this is so underrated... it almost smells like your typical, modern aquatic but its truly unique. Great pear note to start, and the mint and basil last for hours. I can always smell this (with projection) 8 hrs after application. And I only give myself 2-3 sprays.
2. Joop Nightflight - nuff said! One of the most potent summer fragrances to ever be bottled. Respect it!
3. F pour Homme by Ferragamo - People have stated that its very similar to Terre...Well I think this the citrus notes are dialed down at the beginning but its a really nice fragrance for warm weather (any weather really).
4. Burberry Summer - great projection and staying power. The citrus notes are exquisite! Its like AdG without the bitter/sour ending.

Anything I wear during the rest of the year too

but particularly Eau Sauvage, Guerlain Vetiver, Gucci Envy for Men, Trussardi Jeans, Versace Blue Jeans
post #48 of 52
I now own three summer scents.. Acqua di Gio, Bvlgari Aqva and Jil Sander Sun.. with the last 2 being better then Acqua di Gio. Just bought my first Bvlgari Aqva.. so curious how it'll develop in real hot days..
Live Jazz is amazing in hot weather! Also, Aqua di Parma Colonia is great on a warm sunny day. I like Guerlain Vetiver and Paco Rabanne PH for the spring when its not really muggy out.
I just discovered NOTTE BIANCA by Linari Fragrances and I am truly enjoying it.
I was just looking at my collection earlier today, thinking about what I'ma bring out this season. I think I'ma refamiliarize myself with my Dunhill Desire red and X-centric, wear my Gucci Pour Homme 2 (great all year round, really), Cuba Gold (I've really neglected this because of it's resemblance to the waaaay-too-popular Le Male, but I think I'ma give this some more wears), Burberry The Beat, Lancome Hypnose (use to love this in warm weather) Burberry for men, Versace blue jeans, Hermes D'Orange Concentree, and my Perry Ellis for men (2008)
My personal Spring and Summer favorites, all of which (except for Eau Sauvage) have great longevity are:

Capucci pour Homme by Roberto Capucci
Bowling Green by Geoffrey Beene
Blu Stremo by Carlo Corinto
Eau Sauvage by Christian Dior
Casual for Men by Paul Sebastian
Opera IV by Roberto Capucci
Horizon by Guy Laroche
Listen for men by Herb Alpert
Safari for men by Ralph Lauren
