New Heeley Fragrance for Summer, Inspired by a Nursery Rhyme

Thread Starter
Here's a new Heeley Fragrance just in time for the warmer months, apparently inspired by an English Nursery Rhyme. NST has the scoop---------> http://www.nstperfume.com/2010/03/25...new-fragrance/

Oranges and Lemons Say the Bells of St. Clemons (yes, that's the name) is a "A Traditional, Contemporary, Fresh, New, English Eau de Parfum inspired by the Great Bells of London, St. Clement’s, St. Martin’s, Old Bailey, Shoreditch, Stepney, Bow. Oranges, Lemons and Earl Grey Tea."

Additional notes are :bergamot, neroli, petitgrain, ylang ylang, vetiver and oakmoss.

Sign me up! It sounds great.

Just saw that Lucky Scent got this scent in and I'm curious as I generally like this house.

Has anyone gotten a chance to try this one yet? If so, does it distinguish itself from other citrusy colognes?

Smelled this at Barneys and liked it. Still trying to decide if I'll get it.

In the meantime, here's one version of the old rhyme to keep you amused:

Oranges and lemons,
Say the bells of St. Clement's

You owe me five farthings,
Say the bells of St. Martin's

When will you pay me?
Say the bells of Old Bailey.

When I grow rich,
Say the bells of Shoreditch.

When will that be?
Say the bells of Stepney

I do not know,
Says the great bell of Bow

Here comes a candle to light you to bed
And here comes a chopper to chop off your head!

I purchased a sample from First in Fragrance a few weeks back. It's a very nice citrus, but only last 90 mins or so on me, which is a pity or else I'd have purchased this. I also like Honore's Trip even more than the Heeley, but that lasts less. After a hour you can hardly smell it.

Got a sample of this from luckyscent and I'm very taken with it. Great contrast between the bright citrus/florals and dark tea/vetiver. It even gets a tad musky on me in the heart. I really wish it lasted longer, though. My longer review is on my blog for anyone interested.

A citrus fragrance that doesn't last long... so what else is new? *sigh* I've been looking for a good lasting citrus with tea scent since trying Oolang Infiniti, but looks like I have to keep looking and waiting.
