Does your child have a unique smell?

I haven't been wearing a whole lot of my old perfumes because of a couple of reasons:

1. nausea with some of my old favorites, for one reason
2. incredibly busy, for another

Since, I haven't been wearing much of anything, I've been aware of a distinct smell -- my own child. At first, I thought it might be my mom, as she came to live with us for a few months, after I delivered. And I was going to comment on how I wanted her to shower more often, but then I realized it was my kid! He has a distinct smell, different from me, my husband, and my mom. It's strongest right over his glabella.

I used to hear people comment about how they loved the smell of their babies' hair. I wonder, is this that smell so many parents refer to?

Infants and babies do have a magnificent unique smell!

Caron's N'aimez Que Moi parfum smells eeeeeerily similiar to the scent of a baby. Soft, cuddly and animalic (baby poop!) all at once. I was going to purchase it, but this is one the few fragrances that made me self conscious.

Yes they do have a gorgeous unique smell. It's like a clean ,fluffy, never been sweaty, skin smell - quite heavenly. I like the perfume Baby Grace by Philosophy- for reminders - I nearly bought it once, who knows, I may do so eventually .
I had a conversation once, with another mother about baby smells- we agreed that past a certain age - 5- 6 years old, they get the more adult smell mixed with their own personal smell . Just wait till they get to 8-11 years- it's sweat ! *LOL* Sniff now !

PS .Scent - I may have to get Caron's N'aimez Que Moi now !

It is not only the parents who say that. I don't have children, I'm too young to have any but I always said babies have a great scent. I keep sniffing on my little niece when she's here. Her hair and her skin smell just wonderful.
