Smoky wood, camphorous mint, and some spice. The resemblance to Tiger Balm is apparent but Esprit du Tigre is softer, smoother, and altogether more wearable. However, it's not something that I...
The vintage version:
The top note is a pleasant floral-citrus mix with a bit of neroli, that in the drydown adds lavender and later a woody notes. Towards the end a light and not unpleasant...
My ocean scents are this, erolfa and sel marine. Of the 3 this smells the most like the ocean. Imagine you are walking along a rustic beach on a cloudy cool day, and the sea smashes against the...
I didn't like this scent at first. I found it amateurish and a bit redundant. I gave my sample away to a buddy that's a womanizer. End of story.
I walk into Scent Bar looking for Wode by...
The lemony opening reminds me of old people. - it's not unpleasant and smells fresh and clean but I just can't past the smell of the beige bowls club brigade. After a while the vetiver comes...
I have a 99.5% full 75ml bottle of Bvlgari BLACK with box in perfect condition if anyone is interested in a swap?! PM if so
My favourite Bvlgari from what i've tried is Soir, as someone said, it's really dark and classy, the last comment i got was 'Lee what is that your wearing, you smell amazing!'
No surprise there, soir is a stunner. One of the best scents ever made..
I love every aspect of black, even the so called "rubber" note which smells more like leather to me. I wore it out on a date last week...and the girl said it was a very sexy cologne. Do you guys like the entire fragrance or more so the drydown ?
I'm so caught up in those UK riots at the moment that I actually misread the thread title as "What is the best Bvrglary fragrance?" and thought "WTF?". Need to stop watching the news for a while...
A year later and I feel mostly this way. They are just so "dry" smelling to me. I swapped for BLV recently, but that was mostly for sentimental reasons. My better half loves Bvlgari scents on me, but I tire of them very quickly. Most tea based scents just don't get it done for me.
In my humble and strictly personal opinion: Black, Extreme pour Homme and Jasmin Noir (the latter more on the feminine side, but with great unisex wearing-ability, according to most male Basenoters I talked to about this subject)
I'll be different than everyone else here and say MAN. Wife liked this scent too.
Black would be number 2. But neither of these seems to have the longevity I would like.
Have tried a few other Bvlgaris, and just don't care for 'em.
Difficult for me this one.
I sometimes love Pour Homme but sometimes just can't detect it after 15 minutes.
I like Aqua for an aquatic but think it could become very boring if worn regularly.
I like the sound of Black but can't find it to try.
Didn't like the others...
#1 - BLACK. Bold. Unique. Ahead of its time.
#2 - SOIR. So classy. Even the bottle is classy.
#3 - AQVA. Might be my favorite aquatic, but they need to fire the guy who designed that terrible bottle.
