I'm wearing my comfort scent, Hiris, this morning -- then a light mist of L'Artisan Fleur d'Oranger, to cheer me up for my root canal! (no sympathy required -- it's unpleasant, but then it's done.)

in Guerlain Mitsuoko EDT today...rain stopped in NYC, now we have a grey after-rain morning with a suggestion of dry, sun-kissed air; maybe by afternoon. Mitsuoko seemed fitting, but she is complex and I find myself drawn back into her constantly shifting facets seeking something to hold on to...she & I do not know each other that well yet. We are sniffing each other out, so to speak.

This smells like honeysuckle nectar - not a honeysuckle accord per se, but the feeling you get when you taste the nectar and smell spring flowers in the air. It makes me smile.

Today I'm wearing Fo-Ti-Tieng by Marilyn Miglin. Not my favorite jasmine, but a lighter take...somehow jasmine and reams of fresh paper, nice for work and very clean, not earthy or indolic. Clever in its way and the bottle is a cutie.

Made it to Penhaligon's and wearing a spritz of Orange Blossom!

My newbie nose failing me, it's orange blossom with added yum. It's actually a little bit sexy - not full on raunch, but there's definately a cheeky wiggle.

C Rose, the postman is well trained and tucked my package away safely for me to find, hurrah!

Just my luck it's damp and as windy as a tornado during my quick getaway to Las Vegas.
First stop- was the GUERLAIN store where the charming Ms Tee let me sample to my heart's delight.

Am wearing some of my brand new bottle of Apres L'Ondee (gushes with delight)
Also bought 2 other scents and was given a bottle of my choice of the Allegorias because they were having a promotion of some kind. (More gushing with delight). Should really post this in the "today I bought" thread but I'm too tired.
