I think this cd by Lenka came out last year, but I have "The Show" in my head tonight because I heard it on Pandora Radio at work. I love it.

James Zabiela - BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix (April 03, 2010)

His new production Burnt Bridges (starts at 33:00) into that voice over and than into that Steve Bug remix is insane. I was screaming at the top of my lungs Like It Should Be until my roommate told me to shut up.

The whole release is nice but this track is fantastic.

Martin Buttrich - Crash Test

I was listening to this all weekend. Hands down, the most well crafted techno LP I've heard in years. Pre-caution: if you really love your speakers, stay away from Back It Up. Reminds me of the bass heavy techno stuff I heard Digweed play a couple of weeks ago.

Glad to hear you're enjoying it. Love the lyrics, the weird violin (whatever it is), and the guitar. & reasonable price of $12!

Warp 10+1 Influences by Various Artists

Pulled this one and dusted it off today, CD1 still just blows me away. Classic acid tracks, with just the right amount of house music in them, are my favorite kind and this CD showcases many of the 'big' ones. I just noticed tonight, that the old 808 State track, 'Let Yourself Go (303 Mix)', samples Loleatta Holloway's 'Love Sensation'...the very tip of her vocal sample, saying 'Sweet sensation....'. Werk!

nsamadi - that Buttrich track kills it!!

From The Double Gone Chapel by Two Lone Swordsmen

As a long time fan on Andy Weatherall, I never quite warmed up to this album until recently. It was such a departure, in style, from his dub-heavy, 15-minute-remix style in the height of Madchester - yet listening to the DGC album now, I finally have caught up with where Weatherall & Tenisson's heads were when they recorded this.

The thinking man's goth, if you will.

This. I usually don't go for JZ's mixing styles, but I like this one. Thanks for posting it N.

Side note: James says at the beginning of the mix, that he was inspired by the movie, Moon. Coincidence: I just saw Moon last Sunday. A very strange and psychological sci-fi movie.

My favorite SM album, before she went and got all pop-sounding. I have a rare single EP of hers, that has a Roni Size remix on it, no kidding.

The Sight Below - It All Falls Apart

I'm extremely picky about ambient music. Sometimes it's too soft, airy & uninteresting that I might as well take my headphones off and listen to the wind blow outside. The real thing is always better. This is the best album I've heard in the chill-out/ambient genre. If you listen closely, you can hear strings softly playing and just the hint of bass on one track. There's even some lyrics (Joy Division cover) used.

Highly recommend this one if you like ambient music. It's going to get a heavy rotation on my lazy weekends and confused mornings for weeks to come.

Color of Feels EP by Kaito

One of my favorites of his, from his earlier years. I love how the guitar adds an added tension to Kaito's typical trance swirl.

Hell yes! I have been working my way through the album this morning and it is superb.

EDIT: Oh, and after hearing it again for the first time in years, I can't get Manu Chao's "Me gustas tú" out of my head.

This is wonderful N. I just realized that this is Rafael Anton Irisarri's band. I love him. I have an album of ambient remixes from Balmorhea and of all of the remixes, his (of 'Harm & Boon') was my favorite. Supposedly in The Sight Below band, he's working with one of the members of that seminal shoegaze band Slowdive (of whom I have their entire discography).

Really looking forward to getting into this album. The 'Fervent' track is fantastic.
