Good Morning, dear friends!
Here I sit...home, finally! I don't ever want to go through that again. The visiting nurse will be here at 11:30. (Thank you, God!) The catheter in my kidney (the one banging up against my rib evey time I move or breathe) comes out Wednesday. Yippee!
Cindy told you about the big 'ole bag of samples. Was a good thing I had them. I felt like an inmate. "Trade you help with brushing my teeth for a perfume sample." "Thank you for changing my bandage. Here, have a purse spray." It was currency, man! The quality of nursing care dropped signifcantly when I didn't offer the samples....I experimented.
Here's what I've been wearing: in the hospital for 5 days, Chanel Cristalle Eau Verte. It has a nice crispness I enjoyed. For sleeping I wore L'Artisan Al Oudh (from a sample) top notes are: caraway, cardamom, pink pepper mixed with dried fruit, herar notes are: neroli and rose, iris, leather, castoreum and civet and a base of rare musk, sandalwood and Atlas cedar, enhanced with patchouli, incense and myrrh, vanilla and tonka bean.
At home I've been wearing Chanel Bois des Iles parfum. Also tested Bond No. 9 High Line (which I do not like), Harrods for Her (which I do like) and Bond Parfum which I am still testing.
So I'm in full recovery mode, perhaps tomorrow I'll start on the insurance & the bills.
