Layering Antidote

Hi guys, I need your help.

I've just bought Antidote. Blind. And I hate the scent. To me it's kinda uninspired and boring. Therefore I need your advice on something to layer with it to hopefully give it some gourmand edge that I can maybe enjoy.

This is the scents that I currently have in my wardrobe

Lolita Lempicka au Masculin
Lolita Lempicka au Masculin eau fraicher
Gaultier2
Aquolina Chocolovers
Britto Man (smells kinda like a lighter version of Le Male)
Rochas Man
Escada Magnetism
Paco Rabanne XS
Paul Smith Story
John Varvatos (original)
CK Euphoria
CK Eternity
Hugo Energise
Angel Peony by Thierry Mugler
L de Lolita Lempicka

By the way please also give me the instruction on how to layer (spray on top or next to each other, how many spray of each, etc)

Thanks so much guys. I'm so desperate right now

I am ordering a big bottle of Antidote on thuesday,
I love it. I'm buying their Flowerbomb too..!
But back on topic, I think it would be interesting to
layer Antidote with Gaultier2.
Spray once with Gaultier2 - let it dry - then two
sprayes of Antidote on top of that ... I think that'll
go well!

From your list I think it might go well with Paul Smith's Story.

The moral is, not to buy blind.
Remember that words in reviews uploaded here can't compare to the actual fragrance.
The reviews can only give an idea and you can reduce your chances of making a bad blind buy but the
risk nevertheless still exists.

If you don't like it, don't force yourself to like it. Try it in a few days and if your view still upholds, then sell it & move on.

Ehh, blind buying is fun.. especially when you come across something great that nobody knows about because they're too scared to blind buy it for themselves. About the returning though, I'm the type of person who will return anything.. as long as I have my receipt -- and with a cologne, if it looks full and the the box isn't torn to shreds, there's no reason for them not to accept it. They just send it back to the factory or wherever they got it from anyways to have it inspected and repackaged. There's no clause that doesn't allow them to take it back.

You need some Poison (Dior) to counteract the Antidote.

It is if it's a used bottle from a fellow BNer

Anyway, back to the topic. Anyone have any idea?

Wow, you sure like the sweet ones, don't you? Either way I think it could be good layered with Gaultier2, but the top notes of G2 would be too much with the cavalcade of notes that Antidote has. I just want the vanilla and musk, so I'd probably have to wait 2 hours after applying G2 to layer some sprays of Antidote on top, and I'm really not sure if it'd work well.

If I were you, I'd just try to swap the bottle away.

I'll swap you a sample of my stuff for a sample of Antidote? That goes for anyone that's willing to swap me some Antidote...

It's a shame you don't like it! It has a little bit of everything; sweet and spicy, fresh and "dirty", and all kinds of juxtapositions. The only thing I don't get from it is brightness and it's a bit heavy. I haven't tried many fragrances from your list so I'd maybe suggest layering it with anything bright or clean. Then again I've never layered before so I don't know if that'd work

Thank you for the offer my friend but the bottle is in my house in Vietnam and it'll take more than $30 to send it out to Greece . Sending stuff oversee is really expensive in my country
