The smell of cotton

looking for some scents that have this type of smell or similar smell.

I love the smell of a brand new cotton shirt when I put it on for the first time, and seems like it has a nothing kinda scent, but sortof airy maybe

I've more or less despised every Kenneth Cole scent I tried, until I tried "KC Reaction T-Shirt." This has a wonderful slightly floral, fresh, airy, cottony vibe. It manages to capture all of this without smelling synthetic (I remember many others being surprised at how natural it smelled to, given its price and that it's a KC scent). Give this one a sniff!

Very much so. Gendarme 20 is a stronger version with a bit of lavender that certainly has that smell. I don't know if I'd classify it as cotton per se, but a freshly ironed cotton shirt. Sort of soapy too.

+1 on Reaction T-Shirt. Smells like what a very nice T-Shirt would smell like, if a T-Shirt naturally had a smell, lol.

Not sure if this smells like cotton but it does smell very fresh and clean - Cotton White from The Body Shop.

To me, encre noire pour elle has a sour rose with a musky cotton. It`s a quiet fragrance, somehow cozy.

Madness from Chopard also has a cotton note on me, but in this case it comes with a strong, dry and hot pepper note. If you want a cotton with a red and hot feel, try Madness. It`s cheap and very interesting. For a less peppery version of it, you can also try visit her edp from Azzaro. You can see why they discontinued visit edp, it`s so dry, peppery, cottonish and hot that is pretty unconventional for a feminine market scent or masculine market scent.

Really surprised to see some love for KC Reaction T-Shirt. I got that last year and was surprised on how light it goes on, yet longevity is very decent. Was a cheap buy for me that I liked...

No plants were harmed in the making of Odeur 53 They used solid phase micro extraction to capture the scent associated with inorganic materials and then reproduced them with synthetics.

I was one of those, that found it surprisingly NOT synthetic. Though, it's sort of dull, I was pleasantly surprised, and if this is your type of thing, I think some would really enjoy it.

Call me NUTS..but Bois D'Argent has a fresh cotton smell...So does Geste

I second Gendarme and Odeur 53. I'd like to add Gendarme Sky to the bunch as "clean linen-ness".

Maybe not exactly cotton, but, Lanvin L'Homme smells like a freshly laundered shirt to me.

nautica white sail.

Of those mentioned that I have tried, Odeur 53 is the most interesting suggestion. I love that fragrance.
Gendarme is also great, but I like the EDP version a lot, and it loses its transparency in the translation to the higher concentration.
Puro Lino is in a similar camp and is an underrated fragrance on this board, probably because its so dern hard to find.
I also like Erolfa. It may be a bit oceanic to be cotton-like, but something in it evokes wind and sun and cotton shirts.
Try these out.
